The Armor Express Lighthawk R1 Level III+ Ballistic Shield combines protection, maneuverability, and mobility. The R1 is optimized for rapid deployment when exiting a vehicle and it’s lightweight design puts less stress on the operator.  Additionally, flat panel weapon mounts on either side of the shield provide the perfect platform for engaging targets in dynamic situations and environments. The R1 is ready the moment extra cover is needed from rifle caliber threats.
