Would not work for my application
by lw -
These magazines appear to be of robust and quality construction, but would not work in a Palmetto State Armory Gen 2 PA10. The PMAGS, I ordered, worked flawlessly!
flawless in every ar -15 and lr-308 caliber I have !
Not for pa10
Mag catch won't hold this mag and bolt won't hold back on an empty mag on a palmetto gen 2 pa10. Pmags work just fine.
Nice, but didn’t work for my lr308

Like the other buyer these did not fit my build(matrix receiver set), so hoping they take them back:/ They feel great and appear to be of very high quality, so if they fit yours don hesitate to order them.
Works in Mega lower
Work fine in my Mega lower. My build initially had a chamber defect that was causing case head separation. Blew a couple of pmags out, irreparable. These I could piece back together and they were still serviceable. Barrel manufacturer fixed their issue eventually. Anyhow, if you have a Mega lower you'll be fine with these.
Fit isn't guaranteed, Spike's .308
by Nicholas -
I tested the feeding with my Spike's Livewire .308 set. My BCG snags the feed lips of the magazine and fails to go into battery. Full and empty. Once I got the bolt to go home, cycling back snags the top of the lips again. I love the aesthetics of these so I endured a little hardship. I hand filed down the lips of the magazines (5 total) to get them to fit. If you have a pneumatic burr bit life will be easy. ASC builds quality magazines however their fit to your rifle isn't guaranteed.
Will never buy again

Mag catch wont hold the mag , falls out of my Aero Precision .
keep 'em cycling and support the N.R.A.

first off, the P.A. team really goes the extra mile for their customers. and they truly support Veterans, police/firemen, now, the 20 round mags ran flawless, and P.A. has the best price period on them, these mags went on 2 different PSA/PA 308 builds i did for myself and my son. neither of us had any complications. get these mags and run with them. you'll be glad you did.
No go for PWS

Would fall out of my PWS rifle and had trouble feeding when it wasn't falling out. Feels nice in hand just a no go for my application
Hard as Heck to Load! But it Functions Perfectly!
by S2K -
I bought 3 of these awhile ago but held off writing a review until I had a chance to actually use one.
<br>They fit and function perfectly in my Aero M5 lower. If the mag catch won't hold the mag in, you probably need to adjust your mag catch! Just sayin'...
<br>But these aren't perfect. It is EXTREMELY hard to get the 19th and 20th round in. And then if you do, it's EXTREMELY hard to seat the mag in the gun with a closed bolt. I checked this with 2 of the 3 mags I received. Both the same.
<br>Compared to my 20 round Pmag, the ASC mag is a lot shorter. So that spring must be really compressed.
<br>Once you get the mag in on a closed bolt, it's EXTREMELY hard to rack the charging handle because that top round is pressing so hard against the carrier. I gave up and inserted the mag with an open bolt. (I have a new Lantac 308 BCG so I don't think the BCG is the problem)
<br>In testing, I shot a full 20 round mag and it functioned perfectly. No FTF, no FTE, and the bolt locked back on empty.
Don't buy them so I can have more lol.

Love these mags. If you load COAL over 2.830" they work perfectly but they do need some individual file work to fit your particular platform.
These are JUNK, JUNK, JUNK!!! I bought 3 10 round magazines and 1 20 round magazine for the AR-10. NONE of them worked. The ammunition would stay inside the magazine because the tilt followers would hang up. Never again.
Bad follower. Good magazine.
Bad follower. Wishing they would make a better follower because I like steel mags. Took it apart and the plastic follower seems like it tilts in the mag. If the follower was more cup like or more like a p-mag follower they’d work great.
Mags that don't work

Bought some of these mags wood not work until I cut the edge off the front of the mags

You want your rifle to look OG? These are for you.
<br>You want your rifle to look OG and feed? These are not for you.
<br>Some people get these to work with mods, if you wanna take that chance, gopher it. I'm not one for re-engineering finished products.
<br>Shipping was superb though, thanks PA.
Do not feed reliably
by Steve -
These mags do not feed reliably in my gen 2 PA-10. Rounds seem to get stuck on the front lip of the magazine and only feed a few rounds before jamming again. I tried contacting ASC but they didn't seem to care, will avoid their products from now on. Pmags function perfectly.

These mags have a great build quality...However, there finishing touches have much to be desired...1. would not hold in PSA lower...little filing fixed that...2. front lip too high and scraping copper off bullets(85gr. and 129gr. 6.5mm)...more filing...3. mag lips too narrow and rubbed on my $350 BCG...again filed to fix...after final filing they worked flawless...there's better for the same cost and the always flawless P-Mags...but for someone on a tight budget and does not mind a little fitting..these WILL work great.....ASC...COME ON AND GET YOUR SH** TOGETHER....PA...thanks for always being the BEST source for parts and the BEST customer service and shipping...Now...Just need one of those new 3x18 PA scopes...lol
Stick with Maggy
Like others have stated, rounds get caught on "lip" and will not feed in both of my 308AR's. Save your money and go buy a pizza. You'll thank me later.
Works with modifications

Using in a DPMS GII AP4. First off that front U lip, cut that dude flush! The bolt also didn’t fit between the top lips, dremeled those as well and rounded all the cuts. Bought 5 only 2 fell freely from the magwell. Not competition worthy, but usable at the range.
Great for holding mail down on a windy day
Came with a RF10 I bought from Primary Arms store front. Threw away immediately and bought a PMAG
The spring is not reliable, follower wobbles.
by EZ -
I bought three of these. I wish I had bought only one. I put these in an Aero Precision M5 upper/lower combo with an Aero nickel boron BCG. The BCG rubbed significantly on the feed lips of the magazine. I filed the feed lips down and reduced the rub. The other issue is the right side of the mag would not feed. The filing helped, but then the follower went wonky and the rear of the bullet would not stay up for the BCG to catch it. I blew money on them, so I will continue to try getting them to work. Not going to even think of a return, as I was convinced the filing would work. (filed on all 3, of course.) I may get ambitious and cut my own followers or see if there is a fix for this. The other issue of the spring may be the real culprit. I bought 2 Promag Gen 3s and they fed like a bandit...I wanted metal, but will have to be satisfied with the plastic, I guess. At this point, I am with the person that said "don't want to re-engineer what they bought" paraphrased...
