Excellent quality magazines

Work perfectly. I'm using these with a KAK mag block and CMMG bolt, ballistic advantage barrel. A 9mm AR platform is probably the most fun I've ever had and I would say that I've easily put 1000 rds + through it of all types of ammo (brass case, various projectile weights). I have not had a single jam or malfunction and the lrbo works perfectly. I have Metalform mags also which were a bit more expensive when I bought them, and in terms of function, I can not determine any difference between the two brands. If anything, the steel used in these ASC mags seems even sturdier than the metalform, although the exterior finish is not quite as "nice." Don't hesitate to use these!

Bolt hold open fail

by -

The back side of this magazine's follower does not stick up far enough to fully engaged the bolt hold open in my Spike's lower. The only point of me getting a colt-style lower is LRBHO. manually locking the bolt to the rear and inserting the mag revealed a ton of space between the follower and BHO. Don't

Perfect mags, perfect function.

I have a few of these in 20 and 32 rd. I also have quite a few of the holy grail metalform 32 rd mags. These are every bit as solid and function just as perfectly as the metalform. In fact, in my piece, using a KAK mag block, the ASC mags load with more authority and a bit easier than the metalform mags. Feed issues are nonesistant; M&P lower with mag block, Aero upper, BA 8.3" 9mm barrel and a CMMG bolt, about 1KK rounds through it now and I have never had a single feed issue. Using Speer lawman 147, Am Eagle 124 and 147, S&B 124 and Federal 115, all brass fmj. These are GREAT magazines, they may have had issues in the past or in other calibers but these are flawless. The polymer follower rocks less than the metal follower in the metalforms.

Excellent mags!!

I have used these in my 9mm pistol and rifle. Both were built from scratch and use a mixture of parts from various manufacturers. The rifle and pistol utilize standard AR lowers with two different mag-well inserts. The mags have worked perfectly for many rounds, loaded with one round or 32. I would not hesitate to buy more if the need ever arose.

Great value for the money.

I am surprised reading the reviews as I have had very good luck with these magazines. They actually are OEM for the Stag 9 which I have run almost 650 rounds through with three ASC magazines (two 32's and one 20 round magazine). When the gun is clean they run like a champ, when I get somewhere past the 200 mark I clean the gun and sometimes the magazines, sometimes not. Out of all sorts of rounds I have had 4 or 5 failures to feed and really nothing I can point to the magazines on. My only real criticism is they have a gas nitride type of finish and in many of the friction areas that finish has worn off to the point where I have bright shinny metal. I might be inclined to take a star away for that reason, but I bought the last one on sale, and when I finish this review I plan on getting another one as they are on sale again. For the sale prices, and in my experience with them I really can't complain.

Junk

Bought 1 of these magazine from here and another from a different site and they are both useless junk. Couldn't get through 3 rounds without a FTF with multiple kinds of ammunition.

IWI 9mm exact replacement

by -

Works just like the factory IWI 9mm Tavor magazine. Can't tell the difference in fit, form, feel, or function. I loaded up 3 of these and 1 factory mag. Did mag dump after mag dump with no failures. Picked these up on sale for half the price as the IWI factory magazine.

Almost as Good as the Premium Brand Mags

by

I have 8 of these ASC mags & use them in my Colt SP-1 select fire registered receiver lower with MAS 10.5" conversion upper & CMMG BCG. Function is 100% except 32nd round never feeds; the round just sits on the follower. For 1/2 to 1/3 the price of my Metalform, Colt, or Brownells mags they are well worth buying.

Cheap mags. Very cheap mags

by

Cheap for $15 and cheap for quality.
<br>These are hit and miss. I have about 24 Metalform mags, 6 C-Products, and 8 ASC mags. Of the 8 ASC mags, 4 work fine. The other 4 will not load past 15 or so rounds (varies by mag). I've tried to contact ASC and they're useless. Stick with Metalform if you want consistency. Pay another $5 or $10 for a product that works.

Mags function great but the finish leaves something to be desired

by

These mags work perfectly with my AR9 build. My major complaint about them though is the finish on them. I wiped them down with a cloth that has a little alcohol on it. The finish came right off with very little pressure. Not sure how long these mags will hold up.

Stick with OEM

by

I have four of these mags, and all four created jams, stovepipes, and double feeds when used in a Colt AR6951. Called ASC, twice, so far they are polite and offered me an RMA, which despite calls, never seems to come

Quality for ar9

by

My first AR9 build is a PSA 10.5 upper attached to a New Frontier Armory forged lower with a Pro Mag insert. I've purchased 4 of these mags and this build is a shooter. Not one ftf or fte. I've run brass and steel through mag dumps and not one hiccup.
