Additionally, the Xyston barrel is individually head-spaced with matching steel bolt and 8620 black nitride carrier for ultimate reliability and ease of cleaning.  This rifle boasts a rifle-length gas system for reliability and smooth cycling action while reducing recoil and minimizing wear. The Battle Arms Xyston offers a 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum receiver with integral ambidextrous controls and RIGIDRAIL™ free-float rail handguard with M-LOK attachment points at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions making it highly adaptable to meet any shooters needs. The Xyston is outfitted with the RACK ambidextrous charging handle with monolithic handle and smooth side sliding latch that is built to take abuse.  The operational capabilities of this Battle Arms rifle are highlighted by its enhanced nickel teflon trigger, modular magazine release, takedown/pivot pins for easy tool-less breakdown, one-piece magazine catch, enhanced bolt catch, user-adjustable three-position pistol grip and ambidextrous safety selector with a virtually unbreakable lever attachment mechanism.
