Bear Creek Arsenal 22" 6.5 Creedmoor 1:8 Rifle Length Heavy Barrel - Straight Flutes - Stainless Steel
Bear Creek Arsenal products complete their entire production cycle at their Sanford, North Carolina facilities. Drilling, reaming, rifling, and turning are all performed on CNC machines under ISO-9002 Quality Systems, allowing Bear Creek to precisely control each step of manufacturing. Careful inspection ensures each barrel meets their stringent standards before shipping.
This 22", 1:8 twist, heavy contour barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel, heat treated to RC 28-32 hardness, properly stress relieved, and lightened with traditional straight fluting. Chambered for 6.5 Creedmoor, BCA expects that it, along with any of their barrels 16" or longer, will hold a 1.000 MOA group at 100 yards when used with appropriate ammo and shooting techniques.
NOTE: Bear Creek Arsenal does not recommend using steel cased ammo in their assemblies or rifles.

Ok it is confirmed to be a sub-MOA barrel but ammunitions is critical. In an auto feeder chambering feed ramps and breech counter bore interact with bullet tips. I have tested five bands excluding Hornady ELDs. Only one doesn't have chambering based concentricity inaccuracy, Sellier & Bellot 140 gr FMJ BT. It grouped sub-MOA, Federal's and Hornady's OTMs, HPBTs, and SPs all were randomly distributed on 7 inch targets. They were all on the target but not in MOA class. Hornady White Tail 14 round group scored 7 MOA. Barrel is good just match ammo to its functionality

This BCA barrel is indeed heavy. The profile is 1.20" under guard, 0.936GB, and 0.910" out to muzzle. This profile is heavier than traditional Bull, Heavy, or Hbar. But deep flutes make it bearable. It still gets hot and cools slow after about 7 rounds. Accuracy not yet proven to be sub MOA. Price is truly nice. Only short coming is it is not 24" R+2 with P5 rifling. If you are going this heavy then go all the way.
It's a shooter
Shooting sub MOA.
