Bravo Company Manufacturing GUNFIGHTER 5.56 Charging Handle - Mod 4B Medium Latch
Details
Details
The Bravo Company Manufacturing GUNFIGHTER Charging Handle, through careful design and superior craftsmanship, is one of the most reliable on the market today. Its design removes a critical weak point which can result in failure of the charging handle latch. While charging the rifle, rather than placing pressure on the tiny roll pin which secures the latch to the body, forces are redirected into the body of the handle. Further strengthened by tough 7075-T6 billet aluminum construction ensures a long service life in your rifle.
Additionally, a raised lip machined into the top of the handle helps to mitigate gases directed rearward. Anodized with a MIL-SPEC Type III Class 2 hardcoat in matte black. Compatible with MIL-SPEC AR-15 direct impingement weapon systems.
NOTE: Not compatible with adjustable gas keyed bolt carrier groups.

Smaller than old mod 4

Works flawlessly, however it is smaller than the old mod 4.
Excellent

Excellent charging handle...the new design has a tight lock up and better functionality
Even Better Than Original GunFighter CH.
by Tom -
Companies like BCM set the (high) bar for others to aspire to. I've already been using the original GunFighter CH on a different carbine, and when I heard BCM had created a new one, I was immediately interested because I'd been looking for a new one.
PA, as usual, got the charging handle mailed out right away and I received it within 3 days.
It's an even better design; now having changed the geometry to eliminate a pinch point that some people were apparently having trouble w/.
It's smooth as ice, just as expected. I've come to rely on Bravo Co.'s products. I don't mind paying a bit more for quality.
"Buy once, cry once."
These will be the standard on my rifles going forward. Thank you, Primary Arms.
Always good to go.

BCM medium charging handles are my goto for builds. Always good to go. Zero complaints.
You could pay more but can't get better
by Coach Barry -
This is the charging handle that use in all my AR rifle and pistol builds. You could pay more, but I don't think you can get better than Bravo Company.
Great Handle
by Samuel -
I thought I orders the longer one but very happy with this. Easy to grab, locks into place night and tight and works as designed
I hate to say it but disappointing

I love BCM; I own an entire BCM rifle, and I don't even like swapping out any parts because I love the quality of BCM parts, even small parts are great quality. I normally use a Geissele airborn charging handle. I decided to give the BCM CH a chance since many people love them and Primary Arms had a great deal on them.
It's just a little disappointing; the latch is extremely tight (strong spring I suppose). When you just pull back naturally, the latch doesn't really open up enough to clear the bump on the upper receiver so it constantly rubs 7075 aluminum against 7075 aluminum every time you rack it. It's not the end of the world but it will wear down the bump on the upper over time. This means you have to be very deliberate and ensure you open up the latch all the way before racking the bolt carrier. Since I'd rather not have to worry about it, I think I will just go back to a Geissele, or try a Radian or DD.
Can't go wrong with BCM
by LGBFJB -
I put BCM ch on all my rifles, high quality upgrade over standard mil- spec, they're the best out there. Although I do agree with the previous reviewer, I wish the latch was the larger one, not quite as easy to catch as fast as the older ones, but it has plenty of leverage and works almost effortlessly. Locks up nice and tight with no movement. Very solid well made handle that you can depend on when it counts. I highly recommend this product!
2nd favorite

I like it, does a good job, well built. Still 2nd to Radian but worth every penny.
