Bear Creek Arsenal 6.5 Grendel Type II Bolt Carrier Group
Safety Note: Choosing 6.5 Grendel comes with an added complication. There are “Type I” and “Type II” bolt/barrel specifications out there, and you CAN NOT mix and match parts for each of them without risk of damage and/or injury. Type II is by far the most popular configuration, but pay attention to what you are buying! A Type I bolt won’t chamber rounds in a Type II barrel at all. Even worse, a Type II bolt mated to a Type I barrel will create excessive headspace and result in a rifle that is dangerous to fire.

love these great products
Check the staking!!

Everything was well done except the staking, which was barely visible. One of the two bolts loosened without any resistance at all. Fortunately I found this while doing the initial disassembling and cleaning of the BCG.
<br>Best to check this carefully before using for the first time.

I bought 3 of these. None of them will extract a spent round. When I put a different BCG in my gun it works just fine. I tried putting a different extractor spring on but still does not work, I guess thats what I get for trying too save a few bucks.
Works like a charm, great price !

Bought this BCG with an 18" Bear Creek Arsenal barrell...type 2. BCG is flawless...Just shot Wolf through it to get a rough zero (best I had was a 2-3" circle)...put my handloads through it and got 1" group at 50 yds...fairly rapid fire as the day was ending...the only negative thing is that the brass got some straight scratches upon ejection...not bad, but looks like it could use a few hundred more steel cased ammo to smoothout the rough spots

The BCG would not extract the fired case, upon looking at the bolt and extractor found the bolt was not recessed so the extractor could engage the case rim. This is a first bolt I have ever had this type of problem with. Highly recommend buying your bolt from a different manufacturer .
