Bad a$$ slick side upper. Fits my Aero lower perfectly. You won’t regret this purchase. Only downside is you have to buy the rear plug separately, which PA prompts you to do before you add this to your cart. Plus the machining on the plug is off, so you’ll have to add an O-ring to the plug to time the flat part correctly to the lower. Not a big deal if you have any mechanical aptitude whatsoever. Lot of people bitching about that.

Looks like a quality receiver. Fits all my lowers. However did NOT come with the rear plug. Lucky me, Bear Creek has on line. Their postage is outrages! So, only three stars and a warning.
So good I ordered another!

Paired with the side charging bolt and a 7.5" barrel all from Bear Creek Arsenal, it all went together well and fit perfectly on my Anderson Arms lower. Fit and function are absolutely perfect! 100rd so far with no hickups!

Great side charging upper. Looks like it was made to match my Aero Precision lower receiver.
Note: most free float handguards with anti rotation tabs will need the tabs removed to fit this upper.
Would buy again if on sale.

Did not come with receiver plug, a critical safety component to keep gas and debris out of your face and eyes.
PA did not have them, Bear Creek has them for $10 on their website, says they are a "replacement", logic leads me to believe that it should have been included. Called and talked to their customer service and got one shipped to me for free in three days.
In process of making a spare or two out of $2 worth of parts from the hardware store.
No issues with the assembly of the upper. Fit and finish are good, rifle runs like a champ.
Looses one star for the ChickenSh$& lack of attention to detail regarding the plug.
Would buy again if on sale, not worth the 2X a regular set up if not to me.
From PA: According to Bear Creek, the receiver plug is not required for operation, and is sold separately on our site for those customers that prefer to use one.

BCA receiver plugs are back in stock on their website. $9.99 with $10 flat rate shipping. How annoying is that?
I'd much rather get it from PA but couldn't find it.

I received this upper when I bought the bolt carrier group. Was very excited to get my hands on a side charging AR. I mated this receiver with a 16” barrel and and gave it the military M4 look. In the first 100 rounds the weapon ran flawlessly. Did slow fire, rapid fire, bench & offhand shooting. At the end of the 100 rounds I noticed that the charging handle had become very loose. I fixed this with “BLUE Loctite” and have not had any issues. I have used this rifle in many training evolutions and could not be happier with it.
Good quality, use standard parts. Does not include rear gas plug.

Good quality, received for free when purchasing a Bear Creek Arsenal side charging BCG. Will not work with over-sized bolt catch levers (like Seekins), billet receiver has a pocket machined to accommodate standard sized bolt catch levers. Does not include gas plug (which installs in gap where standard charging handle will go) and product description does not include this information. Plug is also sold out here on PA, and on the Bear Creek Website.
Great with a couple of quirks

Built this out this morning. Got it with the bolt carrier combo and wanted to tell anyone about a couple of quirks. It will not fit in an upper vise block, but does have flats on the sides, so I was able to wrap it and put it in the vise. Also, you cannot use the BAD lever with this upper, it will not clear the cutout.
