Rapid Emergency Detachment Swivels were designed by Blue Force Gear to give the users the ability to instantly free themselves from the sling and rifle in an emergency with a quick pull of the release tab. The RED Swivel easily replaces any existing QD sling swivel with a convenient pull knob release. The design prevents accidental activation thanks to the elongated snag-resistant knob, as well as internal construction that prevents activation when pulled from beyond 15-degrees off axies.
