Combining superior materials with common sense manufacturing the Vickers M240 sling by Blue Force Gear is just a better solution when strapped to a belt-fed 240 machine gun. Similar to the “Saw” sling, the 240 sling features a wider pad and all metal connecting hardware. The larger 4” movable, double sided pad is guaranteed to carry the load even if the sling manages to flip during firing.

In addition, Blue Force Gear produces this M240 sling a bit larger than most with a 4" movable double sided pad and Nomex® front webbing to prevent burn through. After several rounds of fire you may be able to light your cigar using the barrel but you certainly won’t melt the Vickers M240 sling for sure. Blue Force Gear makes this sling with two point connections thus avoiding the usual feeding hazard created by the third strap entangling with the bullet belt.
The Vickers M240 sling also comes with triglides on both ends of the sling which can looped through swing swivels on a rifle, or combined with wire loops, HK or MASH hooks. With all these options and for the price the Vickers sling by Blue Force Gear is a must for any M240 machine gun operator.
