Picatinny rail, or M1913 rail, commonly found today on everything from AR15 upper receivers to, in some cases, the sides of larger optics, promises greater modularity than ever before when it comes to mounting firearms accessories such as optics, lights, and grips. But, there are, in some cases, slight issues.

For example, if you find that you have two optics, for example, a red dot sight and a magnifier, and find that one of them is about ⅝” lower than the other, you’re going to need a solution. That’s where this rail riser comes in. Either to fix a co-witnessing issue or to bring up a primary optic to a more comfortable and useful lever for you, all you have to do is first attach this short riser section to your existing M1913 rail, then attach the optic to the riser. It’s a well-made, durable solution to help dial in your optics setup.
