The Breek Arms RG2 Rugged Rail was designed from the ground up to provide suppressor builds with a rock-solid, freefloat handguard at a competitive price. The lightweight skeletonized design features a slim, smooth profile with plenty of cutouts for optimal ventilation. The patent pending mounting system utilizes a wedge block to provide equal pressure around the barrel nut, allowing for improved harmonics and reduced deflection when using a sling or bipod. Inexpensive, not cheap!

First off, when I went to install the barrel nut, it cracked in two places with maybe 30 lbs of torque. I liked the rail, so before I did an RMA with PA, I reached out to Breek to give them a chance to fix the problem and explained what happened. I had a replacement in three days.

<br>On looks: Aggressive styling. The anodizing is slightly shinier, but not glossy. Using paint sheens as a reference, I would rate this finish "satin." No burs, no sharp edges, finishing on this rail is solid.
<br>
<br>On function: lots of cuts so it cools well, it's light, the lock up system is easy to install.
<br>
<br>Nit-picky complaints: the use of a proprietary barrel nut meant I had to buy a new wrench specifically for this install. On the picatinny rail, I would have liked to have seen lightening/venting cuts in there (it's solid rail all the way down).
<br>
<br>Bottom line: if you want an aggressively styled and well made rail at an affordable price, this may be the rail for you!

Excellent customer service from Breek. Cracked the barrel nut upon install, Breek sent me a new one no questions asked.

<br>Good looking aggressively styled rail, reminds me of the night rail. No burrs, smooth finishing. Finish is more of a "satin," not quite glossy but not quite flat either.
<br>
<br>Lockup upon installation is solid, definitely feels like it won't go anywhere. It feels light on my build too which is great.
<br>
<br>I would definitely buy this rail again.
