The Brown Bear 7.62x39 Subsonic ammunition is an affordable and reliable round for target shooting, hunting or training. It features a 196 grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) with a Berdan-primed, lacquered steel casing for optimal accuracy and reliability. The Berdan priming ensures proper and efficient ignition of each round and the lacquered steel case construction guarantees exceptional performance. The 7.62x39 Subsonic provides limited sound and maximum reliability in suppressed AK’s. As part of the Barnaul Cartridge Plant, the Brown Bear 7.62x39 ammunition is manufactured to same standards reserved for Mil-Spec ammunition by the Barnaul factory in Russia. The Brown Bear’s 7.62x39 Subsonic ammunition is constructed with a proprietary powder blend, topped with a 196-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) bullet making it the ideal round for the serious shooter who is looking for a quality cartridge to provide accuracy and reliability without going broke after a day at the range.
