The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special MAX LR SPR is a 6.5 Creedmoor bolt-action rifle with a 18-inch 5/8"-24-threaded heavy sporter barrel, matte blued action, standard rotary magazine, and adjustable MAX composite stock.

SPR barrels are 4 inches shorter than standard barrel lengths for this cartridge, keeping total rifle length manageable when a suppressor is attached. The 5/8"-24 threaded muzzle is ready for a suppressor — a thread protector is included. The black MAX composite stock features a vertical grip for a consistent, repeatable firing position and a height-adjustable comb for precise optic alignment. The comb adjusts 2/3" at both comb and heel, accommodating different optic heights without requiring a riser. Three swivel studs provide sling and bipod attachment options. The 1" Inflex recoil pad absorbs felt recoil. Three fore-end attachment holes accept a rail or bipod attachment. The X-Bolt 2 receiver adds extra bolt guidance surface area for smooth, bind-free cycling. The bolt features an extended handle that requires less force to open than a standard knob. The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design with zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel, with a glass-like break. It is adjustable from the factory-set 3.5 lbs down to 3.0 lbs.
