Broke from recoil

Rear sight broke off around the 75 round mark. Flew off the back, hit me right in the mouth. Utter garbage.

I had this mount and a Halosun red dot sight installed on a Sig M18 9mm by a gunsmith. I fired approx 125 rounds and the rear sight completely broke off.
I took it to a gunsmith and he called the C & H Precision directly and spoke with customer service rep who told him that mount was discontinued because of that particular "rear sight breakage" problem. The rep said they resolved that defective issue with an improved version and that my mount was last years version. I purchased this mount only a couple months ago.
The rep would replace the old mount with the improved version free of charge.
Check the mount before purchasing it might be the defective last years version.

Overall a great plate

This plate is a solid mounting option that Sig Sauer SHOULD include in the box from the factory, I would have given it 5 stars but the finish is a little Meh in my opinion, other then that it’s an awesome mounting plate and I like that the rear sight is part of it.
