Quick rundown. 1. Do not use magazines as a rest, it will fail to extract/eject, possible slam fire. These magazines are slightly loose in the well for a reason. Let them hang loose. 2. If your 80 lower isn't spot on with machining, it may not work and may fail to fire because the hammer can't reach the firing pin. 3. If your 80 lower is decent but combined with an upper that has the chamber just a little more forward than some, the hammer may not reach the firing pin before contacting the slide catch. 4. It may not work with PSA uppers unless modified. I had all those problems except #4. (I'm ashamed of #1) Working like a charm now. So much fun and accuracy is great for short range. I'm able to dial in the rifle at 50 yrds compensating for bullet drop and then switch to 5.56 rounds to zero in without having to use so much 5.56 ammo. Almost forgot to mention it's so much fun just to plink in the backyard at 4 cents a shell.

Well worth it

Put about 175 rounds through mine today. Worked very well through an M&P 15 Sport. Definitely needed a lot of oil to run consistently. After about 125 rounds I had to re-oil. But it ran great!

Good Deal - Fun To Shoot

by

Ordered this a few weeks ago. I have a PSA A2 20" upper and was unsure about how it would "fit". It DID fit in the chamber nicely. I've read reviews on this conversion elsewhere and saw some had to do some "fitting" to get the adapter to chamber. I DID NOT have this issue. I ran various rounds from CCI stingers to Quiet and sub sonic as well as an old box of Federal I had laying around. All worked flawlessly. One magazine is having issues when loading more than 12 rounds. The rounds seem to get jumbled if more than 12 are loaded. I have not contacted the vendor or manufacturer yet as I want to clean and lube the magazine to see if this will solve the issue. I have to say I am pretty impressed that it functioned well with low velocity rounds. Would recommend.

WILL IT BINARY?

by

I have a HK416 chambered in 22lr already and it's fun to shoot. I also have a Daniel Defense AR that is 223/556 and I have a binary trigger on it. I always wanted to know how it would shoot in 22lr. The only binary trigger currently is for the 10/22 takedown, so I purchased this kit and WOW! What a experience to shoot in binary mode. I had ZERO issues, I oiled it before shooting ang it was absolutely perfect, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying.

Spring cut to run subsonics

by

I used this in my palmetto Arms ar15. The supersonic rounds fired perfectly. I applied for the tax stamp for a home built silencer and added that along with subsonic rounds. they fed but the spring resistance on the cmmg caused the trigger to not reset some times. I clipped off about 1 1/2" of the spring on the cmmg and now subsonic 1024fps ammo cycles fine in this conversion kit. I also ordered a replacement spring for the cmmg just to be sure when i fire supersonic rounds there isnt an issue. Fast and easy to change out. Super quiet with subsonics. A great purchase

Happy with the function.

Bought this not sure what to expect. I have only put a few test rounds through it so far but was very pleased. Tested in an 80% build, Used Federal soft tip & CCI coated tipped rounds all cycled and fired flawlessly. Used some Shooters Lube on it and installation was simple and straight forward. Cycling of the action to me seamed louder than the actual round discharging. Some reason mine didn't ship with the black protective cover for the tip but , that is a minor issue only part of the reason I give it only 4 stars. May update my review after a few hundred rounds down the road. Already have at least one friend that is eager to purchase one for their rifle.

CMMC .22 conversion bolt kit

Works like a champ. Highly recommended!

Glad I purchased this!

I ordered this on a Saturday and it arrived in Portland OR on Monday! USPS I just ran about 200 rounds thru this today. Not a single problem to report! Magazines loaded easily, and the bolt dropped right in and worked. I have a flat hammer and thought there might be a problem because they recommend a rounded hammer, but again, 100% on firing.

I would buy this again! Best price I could find on the internet too! Thanks Primary Arms. You guys are the best!

Like hot dogs and coca cola

by

This conversion kit is the next best thing to American hot dogs and Coca Cola. I love 💘 my kit it fires really well through my Palmetto Arms Ar15 with a 16 inch barrel and already have fired about 600 rounds through it no matter what kind of ammo I used. Thank you for a great product

5 star fun at a great price!

After a brief break in and a lot of oil, it would run all 3 mags with an occasional stove pipe, not bad for right out of the package. The new 25 round mags are a little difficult to load but I'm sure after a few hundred through each they will break in too. This kit is worth every penny, the money you will save on ammo will pay for this kit in the first 500rd brick.
