Ratings & Reviews
Simple to insert and feeds perfectly!
by Jason Dowis
Received item in just 3 days in perfect condition. Easy to drop in and use right out of the package. One of the three magazines were extremely tight right out of the package and difficult to load. Other two were perfect. After a little work, the third magazine loosened up somewhat. Will spend more time on it later. It feeds and cycles perfectly without any issues. Accuracy is on par with minimal compensation from .556 to 22lr at 75 yards.
Will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks Primary Arms!!
SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

Save your money and your 223/556 ammo in these bs times! I've known about these kits for so long but never put 2&2 together.... 22lr is cheap and plentiful so this kit is a godsend! I use it with my 7.5 in. Del-Ton AR 5.56 pistol suppressed with a RUGGED RAZOR 762 and it's so quiet and not to mention my Franklin G3 binary trigger increases the fun and money saving exponentially!!! A must have for any AR owner..... now if only they could convert an AK47......nah I'm happy enough w/ this
Works perfectly right out of the box
This conversion kit is definitely worth every penny, couldn't be more pleased with my purchase and it takes seconds to swap out. Just remember to clean your gun really good as 22lr is a bit dirty, also run a 223/556 round through after to clear the gas tube. A+

I ordered this on Wednesday. It shipped Thursday. Arrived Monday, from Texas to Virginia in 4 days by regular UPS.
It fit my ATI AR15 pistol perfectly. 25 rounds were flawless.
Also fit my DPMS AR 15 rifle perfectly. Another flawless 25 rounds.
I shot CCI Stingers. I will try other ammo later when I have time. I shot it while on my lunch break. My reaction so far is just plain WOW! I wish I’d gotten this a long time ago.

Pulled it out of the package, oiled it, took the 5.56 bolt out of the gun and installed the .22 bolt and adapter in seconds. Unscrewed the flash hider, screwed on a silencer, loaded up one of the mags with Remington subsonics and it worked flawlessly with no tinkering.
This was on a 11.5 inch barreled SBR.
Very happy with purchase so far. Can't wait to take it to the range and do some real shooting instead of just a function test. With the price of ammo nowadays, this thing will pay for itself in a day.
Works, and really well too!
I picked up one of these a couple months ago to see if I might want a dedicated .22lr AR upper. On the first range trip I was a little dissappointed because there were several ftf and fte malfunctions but it and the rifle (M&P 15 stock trigger components) still seemed to shoot pretty damn accurately for not using a .22lr barrel. Took it home, cleaned it and lubed it and on next two range trips experienced no malfunctions at all (appx 200 rounds) and had similar accuracy. Perhaps the first outing I used the wrong ammo, but the 2nd and 3rd I used 36 gr unjacketed round nose ammo, the cheap bulk pack kind, without a hitch. The real bonus is most of the indoor ranges near me don't permit rifles, except rimfire rifles, so I can still get in some quick weekday range time on Pacific Northwest rainy days and use my rifle.
BEST CONVERSION OUT THERE PERIOD!!!
I have owned numerous other "conversion" kits in the last 20yrs or so & had settled a Chiappa dedicated .22lr complete barreled upper. Then I found and purchased this CMMG Bravo conversion kit. This is not perfect as no conversion is but that being said this is 200% better than any other that I've owned &/or fired. The 3x 25rd mags from my old Chiappa conversion work flawlessly with this kit. I have tried it in my Faxon Upper with a Spike's 16in 5.56 barrel, my Aero Precision Upper with a cheap Diamondback 16in 5.56 barrel, my 2A upper with a 18in Wilson Combat SPR 5.56 barrel and have had ZERO issues with it in any of them. The only ammo that won't feed properly that I have found is subsonic rounds. It is possible to get 25rds into these magazines I DON'T recommend it because it can cause feed issues and is a little tricky to get all 25 in but if you must have more than 20 rounds buy a Black Dog 50rd drum.
Simplicity at its best.

1. Easy to use.
2. Extremely Cost effective when on sale - dont have to purchase another upper. Prefer to use on my 223 W/barrels
3. This is my third purchase. First purchase had a slight breakage, CMMG fixed it at no charge.
Ultimately - its almost a no brainer.
Like anything - Red the directions..
A very nice kit

I did a lot of research on this, and it holds up to the good reviews given. For anyone who want a reliable 22LR conversion for their AR-15 platform, this is the kit to buy. And... PA is an awesome outfit to boot!!!
