CMMG Complete AR-15 Lower Receiver Parts Kit

I've used this kit many times. Excellent quality and highly recommend. This is my go to kit for all lower builds.

I have ordered variations of this kit several times. Most recently I ordered one on 1/15. Upon opening it and working on assembly, it became clear that the kit had two pivot pins rather than a pivot pin and a rear takedown pin. It isn't the end of the world by any means, but a flush fitting pin would be far better. Ideally CMMG will help with a replacement part.

We were happy that we could get you taken care of on that missing pin.

The kit was packaged nicely but was missing the safety detent spring kind of a bummer when your trying to build your rifle but now you have to order another spring and wait for shipping

Bought this kit to build my first AR. Everything went together smoothly in my 17Design billet lower. Of course, I didn't need the trigger guard or the bolt catch roll pin as my lower has a screw in place of the roll pin. Only complaint I have is the trigger has a lot of play, which is fine because I was thinking about getting a nice trigger anyway. The colored bags were extremely helpful for me as this was my first build ever. I'll probably buy this kit again for my second build

Nice kit but was missing mag release items and trigger guard. Ordered back in April and just found out when I started a build in August. Emailed PA and got a response within an hour saying they would send replacements. Got them within a week. Shows the quality of PA customer service!

I've used these CMMG LPKs for mnay builds with no issues. However this time it seems that one of parts kits was, well, not great. It has been a while since I have purchased any lower parts, let a lone a CMMG parts kit, so I am not really sure if quality has changed much. Some of the metals seem softer than the pins that hold them in. The safety level pin started digging into the safety lever, not allowing it to turn. Gain, I am not really sure why. I have not used the other kit I purchased. This is not a PA issue, they are great. This is strictly with the parts kits. Hopefully this is just a one off.

Having tried build kits from many many brand names, I've found thie CMMG kit to be the most consistent quality, good fit and function, quality triggers especially when paired with a JP Enterprises enhanced reliability spring kit.

I have never had any issues with these lower receiver parts kits. However, 1 kit did come with 2 hammers and no trigger. PA reached out to CMMG who shipped out a trigger free of charge. Excellent customer service by both PA and CMMG.

I used this LPK on an Andersen lower, and a PSA upper. I am genuinely impressed with the quality of these parts. The safety selector in particular is of exceptional quality and is extremely smooth. Of all the milspec triggers I've shot with, this is hands down one of the best. It features a smooth pull, not a lot of slop or mush at all. The reset on this trigger is excellent and crisp, and goes right back to "the wall". All parts were accounted for and mine even came with extra detents and a couple extra springs. Overall, you can't go wrong with this LPK especially for a budget build.
