CMMG LPK

I bought 2 of these LPK's on sale for two upcoming builds. I installed one already. Using a completed lower with a PSA PTAC LPK I did last year as comparison I was surprised at the quality of the CMMG. PTAC is Palmetto State Armory's no-frills economy Lower Parts Kit. The PSA PTAC LPK installed reciever had a lot of creep & gritty triggerpull. The reciever with the CMMG LPK installed had none of this. The difference is night and day.Now I am going to have to get another CMMG LPK to replace the PSA PTAC LPK.Shipping was quick and PA keeps you informed every step of the way.

I guess it's always good to have backup. Carry this in my field bag. Just in case... Parts look to be made well, but I have not had to use them yet.

I just did my first AR-15 build. This kit was recommended to me by a friend. First of all I liked the color coded bags. Really helped me with my first build. All components were good quality, everything fit like it should! The trigger works awesome! I have a custom AR-15 I bought before this build and the triggers are identical in feel and function. I recommend this kit, you will not be disappointed!

My first lower build.

I really liked the separated color parts bags with identification card. I didn't care for the grip which I replaced during assembly. I would definitely use a CMMG lower parts kit again.

It was my first build and the colored parts bags were extremely helpful. All parts were present, wich is one of the reasons I chose this kit. I read many reviews on many websites and was amazed at how many reviews for other brand kits were missing parts. Not one review anywhere for this kit mentioned missing parts. Everything went together very well and very easy except... The safety selector would not clear the rear of the trigger that goes under the safety bar. It was very slight but enough to halt installation. A few minutes with a belt sander and It was good to go. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. I will probably use this kit again.

Item shipped fast but when I reciver was missing the bolt catch spring called cmmg and they shipped one out to me the same day will purchase cmmg products again
