This CMMG Medium Tapered barrel is made from 416 Stainless Steel and comes with CMMG's unique and durable Bead Blast Finish. All barrel sub-assemblies, including this 16-inch medium taper barrel, are properly headspaced. The CMMG barrel chambered for 5.56 NATO ammunition features a 1:7 twist rate rifling and a mid-length gas system with a muzzle that's threaded 1/2 - 28 TPI. This barrel from CMMG also comes with a properly installed M4 barrel extension and supports .223 caliber Remington ammunition. The Medium Taper 5.56x45 NATO barrel from CMMG supports either suppressed or unsuppressed firing, making it an extremely versatile addition to your AR15 build. Although the gas block and tube are not included, the .223 Remmington and 5.56 NATO caliber barrel from CMMG supports a Mid-length gas port location and a standard exterior diameter gas journal of 0.0750 inches.
