The Con10gency Combat Application Tourniquet (C-A-T) is a one-handed tourniquet that occludes the blood flow of an area with a traumatic wound. Proven to be completely effective by the U.S. Army's Institute of Surgical Research, the 7th generation CAT is an essential tool to keep on hand in the event of a severe injury. It features a durable windlass system with a patented free-moving internal band for proper circumferential pressure to the extremity needed to cease bleeding. A unique, dual securing system replaces screws and clips that can be difficult to use under survival stress.
