Core Survival 620 Series HEL-STAR 6A Gen III Multi-Function Marker Light

As with any CORE Survival product, we’ve come to expect the best in multi-functional light systems the country has ever witnessed and the CORE Survival HEL-STAR 6A simply amazes with its dedication to all our airborne/MFF, tactical first responders and military personnel.  

The CORE Survival HEL-STAR 6A  Gen III is a multi-function helmet mounted LED light which combines the basic features of earlier model multi-function lights produced by CORE Survival, and features a compact, integrated design with increased omni-directional ability and a truly easy battery replacement.

In order to provide an enhanced tactical feel and a positive, intuitive control CORE Survival has manufactured the HEL-STAR 620 Series with improved sliding switches which allows the operator to choose between two different operating modes and four user-defined functions.

Using any combination of White, and four different color options the 620 Series HEL-STAR 6A ® also has IR and all color options can be set to flash or hold steady, and also variable flash rates and intensities which aid in quicker and easier friend or foe identification.

Letting independent testers take a whack at the HEL-STAR 6A CORE Survival was certain of the results returned and they weren’t surprised. Testing confirmed the HEL-STAR 6A exceeds the FAA’s 3 statue mile visibility requirement was shown to be shock and vibration resistant, dustproof and open sea waterproof to 130fsw (Laboratory testing at 300+ feet).

Overall, the HEL-STAR 6A Gen III is built on such a platform that when newer technology becomes available it can be incorporated.  Also, as mission demands change or shift, the HEL-STAR 6A line can expand to the new user needs quickly and still maintain their stringent quality standards.
