CRKT A.G. Russel Sting 3.2" Fixed Knife
Manufactured by CRKT

Details
Over forty years ago, the Sting™ was introduced by A.G. Russel as the perfect boot knife for hunting, survival, and even self-defense. The 3.2 inches long Sting™ all-steel fixed blade made today is the logical evolution of a great knife into a multi-purpose utility knife that's almost indestructible and is still made to clip to your boot.
Features:
What makes the Sting™ virtually indestructible is the hot forging process. The process starts with a blank of 1050 carbon steel, which is hot-forged, then precision ground into its final appearance. However, the heating process isn't completed until the knife is again heat-treated to improve the grain structure, then heated and quenched until the Sting™ obtains optimum hardness and unbelievable strength.
Although the Sting™ is exceptionally versatile and rugged, low alloy metal such as 1050 carbon can't resist corrosion like other types of metal, so the Sting™ is coated with black non-reflective powder to keep the finish safer from rust and damage. Featuring two outside cutting edges, the Sting™ has a spear point blade that can practically cut through almost anything, making it a knife of choice among survivalists. The handle of the Sting™ is contoured sufficiently to fit either a bare hand or when wearing gloves and provides sufficient balance and weight for ease of handling. Also, this knife from CRK features thumb detents to promote a positive grip, and although a sturdy nylon sheath comes with every Sting™, a large lanyard hole is built into the handle for carrying it with a wrist lanyard or around the neck. If neither around the wrist nor neck is palatable, the included sheath can be comfortably worn on the hip or, as it was initially intended, clipped inside one of your boots.
