IMO, best 1911 there is, this side of a full custom

I've owned a Dan Wesson Valor for some three years now, and have put probably 4500-5000 rounds through it. I have changed recoil springs once, & I haven't had a single failure of any sort. This pistol is a dream to shoot, very accurate (more accurate than I for sure), and just keeps on working flawlessly. The trigger was perfect from the factory. The slide moves like it is on precision bearings. I trust my life to it, without question. As one who has been shooting 1911s for nearly 50 years ... from the old military models while in the Army to some of the top rated production models available, I really don't believe there is a finer 1911 available anywhere with the possible exception of a full custom build. These things just work, as has every Dan Wesson 1911 I have owned.
