The Daniel Defense DD5 V5 Rifle is a durable and reliable semi-auto rifle. It features a cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with precise rifling for optimal accuracy and longevity. The DD5 V5 Rifle boasts 5/8x24 threads and a user-adjustable gas block CNC machined of 4140 hardened steel and Mil-Spec heavy phosphate coating, for reliable suppressed shooting. Daniel Defense V5 offers a consistent feel whether shooting suppressed or unsuppressed.The superfinished and DLC coated bolt carrier group reduces overall recoil impulse and is easy to maintain and operates in all conditions. The upper and lower are CNC machined of 7075-T6 Aluminum with a type III hardcoat anodized finish. The type III hard coat anodized aluminum handguard offers unrivaled durability and provides M-LOK slots along the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions for easy mounting of M-LOK compatible accessories. It features a full length picatinny rail for mounting of optics, red dots or open sights. The GRIP-N-RIP independently ambidextrous charging handle offers anti-gas features for a better shooting experience.
