It offers an optimized one-piece, lightweight free floating barrel design for use on many DDM4 firearm configurations. The design of the DDM4 provides the proven durability and reliability with lightweight characteristics that firearms owners expect from Daniel Defense. The ergonomic design allows for shooters to acquire optimal control of the firearm.  It boasts limited rotation QD swivel attachment points in the front and rear of both sides of this rail system providing tangle-free attachment for slings. The continuous Picatinny rail on top provides ample room for the installation of sights and accessories. The DDM4 Rail 9.0 is compatible with low profile gas blocks on barrels 10” and longer with gas systems at mid-length and shorter.  This rail system includes all required hardware (Barrel Nut, Bolt-Up Plate, & Screws), tools (Barrel Nut Wrench & Allen Wrench), and 3 Daniel Defense Rail Ladders made of high temperature resistant Santoprene.
