DEPARTMENT TRADE-IN PROGRAM
How We Can Help
Let Primary Arms help your police department expend your budget wisely by converting surplus items such as outdated firearms and optics into cash/credit/new equipment.
We provide competitive prices for trade-in items and will quote our best price guaranteed.
We're also proud to share that we partnered up with GTI’s Asset Trading Program to benefit underfunded law enforcement agencies by utilizing their forfeited-seized assets, and surplus law enforcement equipment to provide funds for attending GTI Training Courses or the purchase of new equipment.
Examples of Surplus Equipment accepted by Primary Arms on Trade in

How it Works
1. Contact us with a list of items and quantities of equipment to be traded in. Please be sure to make note of the condition of the items while also including make, model, caliber, cases, and how many magazines are included. Primary Arms is able to make site visits on large quantities of items or high value items.
2. After we receive your information, we will then issue an appraised trade-in value for the items that can then be used as a credit towards your department's purchase of new equipment.
3. Your Department approves the appraisal and
a. Receives cash/credit/check from Primary Arms. You box up the equipment and let us know the dimensions. We then send you pre-paid shipping labels, and schedule pickup of the old equipment.
b. Upgrades to new equipment. You box up the equipment and let us know the dimensions. We send you pre-paid shipping labels, and schedule pickup of the old equipment.
4. Please note some items may be purchases through a 3rd party vendor depending on the quantity/type of item, however you are still backed by Primary Arms Customer Service promise
