This 16" barrel is manufactured in-house using state-of-the-art CNC machines and is thoroughly inspected at multiple stages of the build process to ensure quality. Precision machined from heavy duty 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel, this barrel features a 6 groove button rifled bore to ensure consistent accuracy, with a 1:8 twist rate optimal for a variety of bullet weights. The mid-length gas system is designed for reliable and smooth cycling.
This barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and features an 11 degree target crown. To provide an added layer of protection, the barrel is finished with a durable salt bath Nitride coating. Designed by Diamondback Barrels Co., this barrel also features M4 feed ramps and is compatible with a wide range of AR-15 parts. The medium contour/profile of the barrel provides a good balance of weight and heat dissipation.

Great barrel for budget build!

I was looking for a budget barrel for a truck gun. This price point hit the sweet spot. I opted for the adjustable gas block & the discounted gas tube & free float hand guard along with the standard A2 type flash hider. Good move on my part. Everything went together easily & shot very well. Grouping is about what I expected at 100yds ruffly an 1.5" which over open sights is all my old eyes can see anyway. I liked this set-up so well I bought another like it less the hand guard. I discovered I had one on my AR parts shelve I'd forgotten about. Thanks for a good buy at a fair price point!

Have run about 100 rounds through this barrel and so far so good, barrel shoots straight and true and performs as well as any other more expensive barrel you might find.

I own four of these barrels and all of them produce 1/2 groups at a 100 yards. I will definitely buy more. They are not dimpled so use gas alignment pins to line up the holes.

Put together a budget build, went with the diamondback barrel and glad I did, broke in this barrel with steel and brass case, shot two three shot 1/2 groups at 100 yards with 55 grain .223 monarch brass, very happy
Great Barrel for a budget build

Yeah maybe the gas tube hole is off slightly, but it does not effect anything. BCG still aligns perfectly with the gas tube inside the receiver. Also, so what it is not dimpled, many high end barrels are not either. Feed ramps are fine, head space is great with the BCG I am using.
Happy with the barrel, cannot go wrong with the price for a nice plinking AR!

Despite the bad reviews I took chance and ordered it. Upon receipt, the gas port appears to be aligned properly, using my naked eye. Finish is good. Few burrs in barel few rounds take care of that. have t shot it yet but initial impressions are good.
