So far so good

Looks like a good quality barrel. Good feed ramps. Nice even finish. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet. Description says 6 groove rifling. Looks like 4 groove to me. No big deal if it shoots OK.
It works

I skeptically bough the barrel to build a 7.62x39 pistol due to ammo prices, after range test and a couple of issues (not barrel related) i decided to buy a second one to build a SBR. the SBR and pistol both run flawlessly, problem i found was the magazines. i started using unimags and all the problems disappeared. very well recommended.
Impressive Performance at a Bargain Price
by Justin
It has been 100% reliable in just over 500 rounds I have through it so far. The gasport is large, .096, which makes it super gassy with a can in place. A Gemtech BCG was a life safer. All shooting was done with FMJ bullets, a mix of Wolf, Tula and surplus. The bore is .308 and not .310 which is standard for 7.62x39, but it hasn't affect reliability or accuracy for me though I've done not formal groups at range.
Good value, surprisingly accurate
by Brad Karlovec
Built an upper using this barrel just before the start of rona, luckily I've been able to get my hands on ammo the whole time. I've had no issues with reliability, or feeding many different types of ammunition. The nitriding on this barrel is remarkably even and nice, and ridiculously hard. At ~90 yards it's shooting a 1 inch ish hole, which is better than was expected. It loves and I mean LOVES wolf and tula 122 grain steel case
Awesome Barrel

Used this on a budget build truck pistol, runs like a champ, 0 issues. I can tag steel plates at 100 yds all day with it.
Great Barrel

Just purchased from Primary Arms, installed, and took to the range. 3" groups at 100 yards all day, and I am not the best shooter. The change in weight from a heavy barrel is very much worth it.
Highly recommended.
Very good budget barrel

First let me say this Barrel shoots 7.62 X 39mm accurately and it definitely likes steel case ammunition, and for the price it's at its worth buying. Diamondback does not disappoint!!!
Great Barrel, Much Success
by Justin
I've had great success with this barrel. Running on an lower with an extra power hammer spring and an enhanced firing pin fed from ASC 20 round magazines. It is overgassed, the port being .096 but reliable. With an Omega which is a gassy can already it was unpleasant, a Gemtech bolt carrier made is delightful. Has run great with Wolk, Barnul, Brown Bear and Red Army Standard, without issues. All FMJ though, I've not tried HP or SP in it. Boring reliable and super fun. Built as a way to shoot the cheapest ammo during the pandemic and it has become my favorite rifle.
We are happy to see you have that running so well over a variety of ammo and having a good time.

Upgraded my DB15 AR47 from a 7in to a 10in Barrel. Lots of reviews say 10-14 is a better length for 7.62, especially with a suppressor.
Awesome accuracy for a 10.5” barrel

Put all 20 rounds of some cheap Russian steel cased ammo in a paper plate at 100 yards. I wasn’t expecting accuracy like that. Very pleased with the price also. Great deal.
