Rockin the ARFX
by Richard Brassington
I absolutely love this stock. Solid alloy build, heavy duty rubber but pad that grips your shoulder well and lighter than many full sized polymer fixed stocks. Plus it just looks cool!!
Im running it on an AR-15 platform that has a milspec lower, Aero slick side upper, KAK Industries 18" 7.62x39 barrel with a Rex Silentium helical muzzle brake and a Toolcraft nickel boron BCG. Even with a nice scope on it the rifle is rather light, which is what I was going for. Even though the weight is low, the adjustable gas block and helical brake reduce the felt recoil to not much more than my 5.56 carbine. The ARFX stock compliments this build perfectly and is very comfortable. I would recommend it for sure. Just wish they would produce more and bring the price point down a little and I would probably buy a couple more.
Awesome stock, inaccurate description
by Benjamin
Length of pull: 12.875" without rubber pad, 13.375" with. The stock is awesome, looks great, feels solid, quality material, and is lightweight. The description is inaccurate because it says A2 length, but it is A1 length. Iirc the whole assembly weighs less than a standard m4 setup, but don't quote me on that. I used it for a lightweight build and will now be only using this stock on every build. Yes, you need a rifle buffer and spring (like for an m16a1/a2, which both use the same buffer tube, buffer, and spring for those who aren't already aware). To install the foam, just take a spray bottle with soapy water and spray it inside the foam, it'll slide right on. If that doesn't work, use an air nozzle. QD locations are very well thought out, included buffer tube is 7075 t6. All in all, it's an awesome stock and hopefully my review answered any questions some of you may have.
Best AR stock I’ve used
by Eric
This is my third Acer stock to use on a build. If you don’t already know, this is a rifle length buffer system. Putting the foam sleeve on the buffer tube is very easy if you have an air compressor. Air nozzle under the foam and pull the sleeve on. Without the rubber pad, I never use it, the stock is almost the perfect length. Shorter than a rifle stock by just a little. I’ve used it with just a t-shirt, heavy clothing, with a plate carrier & find it fits me no matter what. It’s a fixed stock but still better then a telescoping stock with plenty of well thought out locations for QR attachments.
I use this with all length gas systems & have not had any FTF or FTE.
Wish it was a bit cheaper, but you get what you pay for.
