Good mag. Great finish. Seems to work better with the bolt catch locked open on the initial feed.

Old style mag. design allows for greater compact ammunition carry in the same space, quicker and smoother magazine changes: Using a little bit of Gorilla tape, also eliminate any unwanted rattling.

Great magazine reminiscent of what I used in the military in the late 80's and early 90's... By putting a strip of Gorilla tape along half the length of the magazine on both sides while leaving a bit of tape at the bottom end of the magazine by meeting the 2 tape ends together, make sure to leave a protruding 1.5 inch of tape to allow for quicker mag. change (takes practice, but it's way easier in nighttime conditions and/or under stress). The tape also eliminates the rattling and the big difference is smoother engagement (because this aluminum magazine has a very smooth surface) during quick mag. change + I can now carry 90 rounds per magazine pouch instead of 60 rounds (using older military issue mag. pouches, not sure about the newer magazine pouches). This ups my standard load on my web-gear to 390 rounds from 270 rounds: 4 pouches with 120 rounds each (each holds 3 mag.) and 30 rounds in my AR-15).

Feeds great. No Issues yet. Lightweight yet feels very sturdy. Finish is good, and gives a great classic look.
