EOTECH EXPS2-0 Holographic Weapon Sight

The sight itself is awesome and Primary Arms was quick with processing the order and get it shipped out. The reason it is 4 stars and not 5 is because the photo of the product actually differs from the real thing, which caused me some headache after ordering it. The photo shown of the product is of the OLD style Eotech (pre 2017), which are the models that had problems. You can tell by the logo on the rear side of the optic. What you actually get is the newer model Eotech, which was re-engineered. That isn't a bad thing but it had me thinking was getting an old model so I had to contact Eotech and blah blah blah. Long story short, the above photo doesn't match the actual product.

It simply doesn’t get any better than an EoTech. True open eye shooting. Giant field of view. This thing makes it too easy. I’ve owned every high-end optic there is and this is miles ahead of everything. It’s worth the money.

If I were going to war it would be Aimpoint hands down. For home defense or LE Eotech is awesome. It's a little heavy and a little bulky, but the FOV and glass quality is excellent. Zero parallax and zero distortion. Very fast optic. I have an astigmatism, but do just fine with this. Only time the reticle blooms on me is if it's turned up way too high. I just wish it had some good lens covers to keep dirt and weather out. The QD mount is nice and worth the additional cost.

Having decided to "go" EOTech I had the choice of 512518 xps2 or exps2. I opted for the EXPS due to the smaller and lighter size and also the battery placement advancements. I was skeptical of the quick release riser how I must say the 1/3rd co-witness is definitely where it's at. Personally I find it to be far less cluttered than absolute (it's intent) and also not a distraction. It took a handful of shots to sight it in would have been less but I milked the experience as much as I could. Such a great looking piece it holds up perfectly for my uses. Could not be happier PA excellent customer service I will only buy from these people... Customer focused!

Service from primary arms was excellent and fast shipping. The reason for such a low review is I am currently fighting with EOTECH due to having to re-zero 3 times in 2 months. Which is a huge problem since this is my Patrol Rifle.

I was hesitant to spend this much money on a sight. But after reading the reviews and using the EoTech at the range I could not be happier! I use with with my Primary Arms 3x magnifier. Great combo!

Bought 2 of these little gems, 1 for me and 1 for my mom, upgraded both to tall PA flip to side mount and 6x PA magnifier, looks great and installed in minutes, can't wait to hit the range!
