The Expo Arms H3 AR-15 Carbine Buffer with 5.2oz. weights is ideal for your next suppressed 300 Blackout rifle or 9mm carbine builds. The heavier H3 buffer weight helps to increase dwell time and decrease recoil especially with heavier bullets like .300 blk and 9mm. The increased gas pressure from a pistol length gas system combined with a suppressor or a direct blowback system need a heavier buffer to slow down that bolt and ensure reliability. This H3 carbine buffer weight also features a 7075 aluminum body construction.

Actual weight is slightly heavier than advertised

This buffer is advertised at 5.2oz.
H3 buffers are usually specced for 5.4oz.
This buffer actually weighed in at 5.57oz.
Its not the end of the world and my particular rifle cycles it just fine, but buyers should be aware that the advertised weight at least for the one I received is heavy by quite a bit.
