You can easily spend 2 times the money and not do better. Aluminum barrel nut, anti-rotation tabs, and very light total weight.

Great rail for a ar15 pistol buy it

I bought it to slide over a Geissele gas block. This 9.5” is Slim Lightweight and affordable. Mounted securely. The cam nut puts it way above the other hand-guards of this size weight and modularity.

Decided I wanted to build a 16" mid-length upper. Bought this hand guard along with the FN barrel from Primary Arms. The barrel of course was the typical FN USGI profile barrel however, this review is about the handguard.

First off; the weight. Light! Very light. Had debated between this and the "Combat M-lok" equivalent and decided the offset grooves didn't do a whole lot for me. The finish of this rail was outstanding. Installed the barrel and locked it down with the included barrel nut. Could not have been any easier. Installed the gas block and tube then attached the hand guard. The two anti-rotation tabs could not have made lining it up any easier. Torqued all three of the allen screws down and did another check. This upper is ready for test firing. Attached to the lower, with BCG installed and temporary set of BUIS, the entire carbine weighs in at 5,9 pounds!

This is a good solid handguard and I would no hesitate to purchase again.

I honestly wasn’t expecting much in quality and all I can say is WoW. You will get more than your money worth with Expo Arms. Fit and finish was exceptional for my budget build. Would buy over and over again.

My favorite features are the 7 sides of m-lok, the smooth edges and the barrel nut/tensioning system. I don't know what you can do better for the price. I bought this to go with an 11.5" upper that I was building. All the parts are of good quality and the rail itself is very well machined. I wish it had T-Marks but it's not a major issue. The dimensions of the top rail line up darn near perfect to the Aero Precision Upper.

The 9.5 handguard worked perfect for 10.5 barrel and with ICD BFD XL..

Great handguard. Lightweight and lockup is simple but very secure. 7 sides of MLOK and pic rail up top make mounting doodads and thing-a-majigs easy, allowing different placement with space for your support hand. It is a bit shorter than Dirty Bird and Unbranded AR’s Handguard. Not the biggest issue to lose an approximate .25” for the 10.5” barrel I’m using. This will not allow a YHM QD muzzle device under it though. For the price point you cannot go wrong.

Handguard is super easy to install and align. Machine work is fine and the finish is also very nice. Overall, a great quality budget hand guard. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely buy again.
