Cut to fit SAP/ESAPI/SPEAR cut Plates, the Strandhogg is made to be worn with or without soft armor panels, depending on ballistic requirements. Threat conditions and the type of plate can also help determine the need for armor panels, so the Strandhogg gives wearers the option to modularize as needed. Lightweight 6/12 technology combines with rapid closures systems provided by Tubes, making this system easy to take on or off and ensuring you're ready to go any time. A streamlined fit is combined with state-of-the-art materials and makes these vests easy to tailor for comfort, ventilation, and fit.  Front and rear loop placards ensure gear is available while retaining a comfortable fit, and the instant access back makes life that much easier. The available Overlap Cummerbund was engineered to provide additional soft armor to the front side where the Tubes system meets.
