Ratings & Reviews
Was skeptical on price and reviews on this but bought because of price m. When arrived it went together easy
Good kit fit is good
Good price, good parts
Spot on parts kit
I’ve built a lot of of lowers in my day and I got to say this was simple and for a fraction of the price I was more than pleased! I had a question and the fellow I talked to walked me thru the process and wasn’t a jerk. I would buy many more for future builds
The lpk kit I got was spot on, everything fit right in place, although I haven’t built many pcc’s before it was a breeze! Pound for pound really good!!
Love mine, no issues. FM is easy to work too, very helpful.
Mine works great, put it on an Aero lower, no issues. Why do people leave a bad review instead of reaching out to Foxtrot Mike, they seem great to work with?
Excellent Customer service
by Customer -
I don’t normally write reviews but have to compliment FM and PA on their customer service. Using this kit for a build, I boogered up the safety selector fastener. No fault of the product which is a good value considering ambi safety selectors at this time are @ $15 on the low end when purchased individually. I wanted to buy just the screw but they helped me out no charge. A+ in my book. Little things like this keep me coming back to Primary Arms and put Foxtrot Mike in consideration for my next 9mm AR pistol purchase. Thanks guys!
Not to standard, bad manufacturing
by Mike -
Considering this lower parts kit did not include a trigger group, maybe I expected too much.
<br>There are only so many ways you can screw up a mil-spec lower parts kit, but in my instance, they decided not to thread the magazine release button.
<br>It also appears that the bolt catch was somewhat fat, when I replaced it with a bolt catch from another hardware set, it had no problem releasing the bolt.
<br>The bolt catch ever thatcame with the hardware set from FM was so fat that it stuck in the channel when it was installed.
<br>I know those are only two problems, but when I have bought Aero, Anderson, or Spikes lower kits, I haven't suffered these sorts of problems.
<br>I really don't think I'm buying anything else from this manufacturer. It is a simple mil- spec bit of manufacturing done by a number of companies perfectly well. I don't need to accept failure from this manufacturer.
<br>Primary Arms was great as a source, no problem there.
What I Expected
by Matthew -
Same problem as other reviewers, everything but the magazine catch works just fine.
<br>I found two issues with the magazine catch that were definitely affecting it's function.
<br>1. the arm of the mag catch was out of square and bent inwards a bit, bending it back made things a bit smoother.
<br>2. the radius of the end of the arm that threads into the button arbor is a tad too large, causing the arm to drag on the frame.
<br>Aside from the annoying mag catch, everything else was good.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
by Michael -
Are good designed for milspec receivers a bit tight on billet. Did have one on which the mag catch button was not threaded. Contacted F-M website they replied in an hour requesting my address 2 days later had a complete assembly not just the button in my mailbox GREAT SERVICE. And all ambi safety selectors I've used stick out I don't want it rubbing to impede function. I personally read the reviews comments for humor to spot the NOOBS
mine works fine!
just installed this LPK in my lower and it is outstanding! idk what the low ratings are about before me. I see a machined pocket in the mag release but not a chunk missing. my mag release fit into my Aero lower with ease. the ambi selector switch screws are not "soft" you just don't need to over tighten them... all the reviews before me need to use common sense when assembling a lower. I have multiple FM9 uppers and have had nothing but great customer service from this company.I don't understand why you wouldn't reach out to them them first. they would be more than happy to take care of you.

Front take down pin isn’t oriented correctly. Safety selector doesn’t fit correctly and sticks out. At first I though it could be the lower but I tried it on a different receiver and same issue.
Look no MIM, all billet + nice quality, worked great in my build.
Love mine, looks like no mim parts like standard Indo-Mim DPMS stuff, everything looks like it was made on a cnc out of billet. Nice black color, worked great in my Aero 300BO build.
Do NOT waste the money

This kit is terrible and a waste of money. Mag release doesn't fit without filing.....the safety selector is also way to big..... i kept the springs and pins as spares but threw the rest in the garbage

Included parts were fine. Missing a roll pin.
by Marcus -
The parts all seemed fine, except that the bolt catch roll pin was missing. I had to scavenge from another firearm, which was disappointing. I'll make sure to check all my parts when I receive LPKs henceforth. The ambi safety seems to stick out a little far on the right side, and it doesn't go quite to horizontal to indicate safe. It's possible I did something wrong with the installation, so I'll ask around.

Same as below, mag catch does not fit. Other parts fitment issues.

Low quality parts with fitment issues
by Joe -
Like the review before me, I too had issues with the mag catch sticking. I took a file to the sides of the mag catch & it was clear that there was high spots on the edges. About 5 min of file work & rebluing fixed the issue. Also the mag catch button that came in the LPK had a chunk missing off the back of it from what looks like bad machining. Luckily I had a spare and used that. I also am not a fan or how far the safety selector sticks out off the lower receiver and the screw head stripped out very easily. I've used a lot of cheaper LPKs before but this is by far the worst quality I've found.
Low quality parts with fitment issues

Like the other reviewer, I'm having issues with the mag release hanging up on the lower but a file should free it up. My magazine release button also has a huge chip out the back of it from poor machining. Also the safety sticks out quite a bit from both sides of the lower receiver and the screw stripped out very easily. I've used a lot of lower cost LPKs and this is by far the lowest quality I've found

Decent kit, except the mag release button wasn't threaded. I have a few lying around, so no big deal, but if you were looking to assemble and shoot on receipt you might be a little mad.

On my Anderson lower, the mag release binds, the safety selector sticks out 1/8” and doesn’t work with my drop in single stage trigger by Velocity. Springs and detents work well enough, and appear to be decent quality. Going to hold on to the kit for spares or other builds. Also, no grip means no grip screw and washer. (Should have looked at the picture closer, items aren’t listed in description).
Great parts kit, smooth ambi saftey leaver
by Christopher -
I used this parts kit in my last build, the parts all appear to be well made. The ambi safety selector is one of the main reasons I bought this kit. It is smooth as butter, no wiggle and looks pretty awesome. It is shaped like an ace of spades, not round like a mil-spec selector.
