Super light and slim, great price
by Star
We had already built a couple using them, I like the new design. The customer service is the best. There are install instructions on the FM web site and the rail came with shimms too. Nice touch. Cant believe how slim these feel in your hand and very ligh too. Cant beat the price, no complaints.
Awesome

Awesome rail for the price. Well made and super light and thin
Great budget rail!

I was super hesitant to buy this rail due to how inexpensive it is but this rail is great! Super lightweight and durable. I'm have 900 rounds through this on an 11.5" 5.56 build and it's still Rock solid. Can't go wrong with this budget rail!
Great product - but, read the installation instructions

First time buyer of Foxtrot Mike products. I bought this to go on a pistol build. I used standard barrel nut torquing, and split the barrel nut. Do yourself a favor - go to the website and read the instructions.
I spoke to Primary Arms about a replacement; they said they'd talk to Foxtrot Mike. A few days later after hearing no update, I spoke directly to FM. They said they'd send me a replacement. A few days later, the replacement arrived, I installed, and the handguard works great. A few days after that, a second barrel nut arrived...
So, kudos to both Primary Arms and Foxtrot Mike for their customer service. Now, I need to make arrangements to send the second barrel nut back...
From PA: Sorry for any confusion, please feel free to keep the extra barrel nut in case you need it later.
Excellent!

Very impressive rail at a very attractive price point. Centers the barrel perfectly and lines up with the upper pic rail perfect as well. Rock solid mounting. Fine finish with nothing sharp. I did have to use .025" of shims to get the barrel nut to clock correctly and within the normal AR spec torque range. FM should include a paper copy of the installation instructions that are on their website. They don't specify a torque setting . . just tighten until the nut clocks correctly for the mounting screws. I tried and it was way too little torque or way too much, hence the shims to get 40 ft/lb or so.
