My friend who is a gun smith recommended FN barrels to me, and they do not disappoint.
Hassle Free installation with a well placed gas port.
Shoots straight as an arrow and drills groupings.
Very high quality.
Will get you props at the range. Never fails to impress.
Pretty good

The barrel itself is great and very accurate. I was able to get groups ranging from 0.36 to 1.15 moa at 600 yards with 77 grain ammo (wind started kicking up and I have a lot to learn about shooting). I did have an issue with the gas port being too small. It comes at about 0.09 inches and I had to widen it out to about 0.1 inches to get the bolt to lock back. It's not a huge deal once you know what is the problem, but it cause a lot of consternation trying to figure it out.
Shoots great, once or twice

The barrel had no cosmetic issues and shoots great. I don't shoot well enough to measure MOA with any consistency but it appeared to group as expected. Unfortunately it wouldn't feed consistently in my rifle. After a lot of investigating and eventually taking apart the FSB, I discovered the gas port was a few thousandths undersized (~.091). I had to purchase a #42 drill bit (.0935) and drill out the gas port to bring it to spec for a rifle length gas system. After doing that it works great. This is a pretty major QC issue in my opinion. For anyone else reading this, SPEC YOUR GAS PORT before installing your gas block/FSB, you will not regret it.

FN Hammer forged 20 inch barrel

This should last a long time with the hammer forging and chrome lined rifling. Can't wait to shoot through.
