Outstanding value

As with all FM products, this barrel does not fail to deliver in the performance or accuracy department. This is in a Glock open gun for USPSA and I'm shooting major power factor loads exclusively. I beat it like a rented mule and it just runs, zero defects. Buy with confidence.

Wrong Dimensions

Does not fit my bone stock Gen 4 Glock 17. The barrel came marked like the one shown and the label on the bag confirmed it fits the Gen 3 and Gen 4 but 80% of the threaded part of the barrel is in the slide and the recoil spring is also mis-calculated and does not hold the recoil spring in place. Someone messed up when taking dimensions. Also, Primary Arms feels like it's my responsibility to pay for return shipping for a product that the manufacturer messed up. Disappointed with my shopping experience here.

Does not fit my Gen 1 Glock 17

Specs said it fits Gens 1-4. The barrel is too large to go through the slide on my Gen 1. Primary Arms made the return and refund extremely easy. Will certainly buy more products From PA in the future.

Quality barrel but not a drop in

I have both gen 3 & 4 glock 17’s and the slide would not get past 60% of the way onto the frame without applying a TREMENDOUS amount of pressure and disassembly was the same. Upon inspection I found my gen 3 & 4 barrels were .808 respectively from the hood to the bottom of the rear locking lug and the FM17 barrel was .827. So I broke out the 180 grit on a raised flat surface to ensure evenness across the lug. After about 20 minutes ( stoping every couple passes to check with the caliper’s and check fitment on the frame ) I was down to .812 and it went on like butter and decided to stop. I followed up with a couple passes of 220 and 600 grit for smoothness and finished it off with brownells oxpho blue. Overall I am still happy with my purchase as I enjoy gunsmithing but be aware that it may not be a drop in as stated.
