Geissele Automatics G2S Two Stage AR-15 Trigger

I have 4 Geissele triggers. This. 2 Stage is a welcome addition. After a number of rounds, I can't tell. Very smooth with a crisp SSA break.

I have 4 now in various rifles. I also have a couple of SSA's an SSAE and a Timney. The latter are great for target rifle but the G2 two stage is tops for service type AR's. Reliability being number one requirement this trigger is also very crisp but with enough weight to hold second stage safely.

I have a few geissele triggers 2 of them being the ssa and for the lower cost its hard to tell a different between the two. This is a great trigger if your trying to upgrade several rifles to better triggers. Well worth the cost. Shipping was the fastest in the biz as always.

I have several SSA, SSA-E, and SDE Trigger groups. I do love the feel of this trigger, and can't really tell a difference between this one and an SSA. I actually prefer the way it installs, and the hammer pin retainer. Buy this trigger. Best bang for your buck. Can't go wrong.

I have two other Geissele triggers in AR platforms and without a doubt, it is the single most important contributing factor to accuracy.

I now have this trigger on 3 out of 4 of my AR's. Easy to install, no setup. Unfortunately it was missing a spring so I used the stock spring and could not feel a difference from my other G2S triggers, the reason for the 4 stars.

I recently purchased and installed the G2S 2 stage Giessele in my ar and it was just want the gun need to start shooting 1/2 minute groups at 100 yards. Also the customer service from Primary arms was A1

I took a chance during the Black Friday sales event on the G2S, and am glad I did! I usually stick with the SSA option on all my AR builds, but when this version became available at such a great price, I bought a pair to install in a couple DPMS lowers. Easy install, perfect fit, fantastic price...you simply can't go wrong with Geissele and Primary Arms.

I wanted to run a few hundred rounds through before commenting. As you guys must know, what an upgrade over the mil spec trigger. I was doing ok on the mil spec, but my groups were not what they could be. I snagged this trigger on sale and dropped it in. The c clip on the hammer pin is no big deal to install, and the package included an extra if needed for later. My groups have shrunk to something I am proud to show off. I ordered the trigger, and 17 minutes later, received a tracking number from Primary Arms. Came to me in three days and that was over Labor Day weekend. Thanks guys.

I was somewhat hesitant to buy the G2S over the SSA or SSA-E due to what Geissele calls "carrot-like break", and the hammer pin retention clip (which higher-end Geissele triggers do not employ). I wanted a crisp trigger pull. I haven't had any SSA-E trigger time, but I can tell you the G2S breaks nicely crisp. Furthermore, installation was very easy. The hammer pin retention clip was another point of hesitation for me, but having examined and installed the trigger, I am confident the retention mechanism is a quality design and built to last. Of course, you can't beat Primary Arms' great prices and fast shipping. Buy with confidence.
