When building or upgrading your AR-15 rifle, one of the most important components is the trigger. There are many triggers out there so you must ask yourself what are you are going to do with the rifle. Are you going to use it for plinking at the range, home defense, competition, or long-range precision shooting? The answer of this question will help you to understand what trigger you will need. The Geissele Super 3 Gun (S3G) Trigger is designed specifically for competition use where fast follow-up shot and quick target acquisition are required. It features a hybrid single stage trigger that maintains the safety and reliability of a two-stage trigger while still being extremely light and smooth. It has a short pull and quick reset making it easy to shoot your semi-automatic rifle fast. This model comes with one 3.25lb trigger spring and one 4lb trigger spring so you can customize it to your preference. Drop this trigger in your 3 gun competition rifle and you will immediately see a drop in your time during a stage.
Geissele Automatics manufactures confidence, offering quality triggers and components for the warfighter and competitor. They were established in 2004 with the mission to build the highest quality, reliable triggers for competition and their first trigger, the Hi-Speed National Match trigger, was so popular that they were asked by the Department of Defense to produce a select-fire trigger for the United States Special Operations. Again, it was a success and Geissele decided to bring a semi-automatic version to the civilian market for law enforcement and personal protection.

Geissele Super 3 Gun Trigger
by Bill Frazier
Purchased the hyped trigger unsure of what to expect, went with the regular curved trigger than the flat. No issues installing used the 3 1/2 pound spring. What a hoot !! Super fast reset smooth as silk. I let a few others try it at an indoor range and all loved the feel. Not sure while others have said they experienced double taps, not an issue. Ruger SR - 5.56 with a Spikes Tactical Dynacomp 2 comp.

Smooth fast and super nice trigger. I had to put the safety selector in first and then fish the trigger in.
Fantastic Upgrade for your AR

The quality is obvious the moment you open the package. I’ve installed a variety of after-market triggers, but none could compare to the fit, finish and function of the Geisseles; they are as advertised. Installation was easy, but if you’re new to trigger swaps, be sure to check out the trigger installation video on YouTube by Bill Geissele himself. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9nfsa7Q5cg) If nothing else, you’ll learn it’s pronounced Guys-lee, not Geese-sell or one of the other variations I’ve heard. This was my first visit and purchase at PrimaryArms.com, and I’m absolutely sold on their pricing, depth of inventory and excellent service.
Very nice single stage trigger.

The Super 3 gun is a very nice trigger and just what I was looking for. I have a SSA-E, an ALG QMS, and an ALG ACT with the JP yellow spring pack. It was tough for me to justify spending the dough on this but I'm glad I did. It was exactly what I was hoping for. A fairly light, crisp, single stage with a short reset. My digital trigger pull gauge showed an average of about 3.25# with the provided lighter weight spring. The QMS I replaced came in around 7#. Double taps are very easy with this trigger but it's not so easy as to be unsafe. Feels very controllable. I'm happy. just need to figure out how to scrape the dough together for a couple more.
Simply amazing.

The trigger does exactly what it says its supposed to do. With an exception to how fast this trigger eats ammo, I've got no complaints at all about it. I was amazed at how fast this trigger was. I have one of the Geissele SSA-E triggers and agree 100%, this 3 gun trigger is not really a match grade trigger compared to the others in the Geissele line up. But with that being said, it would still be light years ahead of a stock AR trigger for matches. One thing is for sure, I didn't have anyone shoot this trigger and not have a smile on their face. Its awesome.
Amazingly quick!

These guys are great, I'm waiting on a lower to put this trigger in but it looks great and was packaged perfectly. I can't wait to start pulling this trigger.
Amazing Does Not Do It Justice
by Oscar Zavala
This trigger is fantastic, I bought it during a 15% off sale. I have only ever had mil spec triggers but decided to take the change on this trigger after reading reviews and there being a sale. I ran this trigger this past weekend in a suppressed 11.5" SBR and was instantly blown away. The pull is excellent and it breaks so cleanly, really I can not do this trigger justice with a product review. Double taps were no issue, I don't think my finger is yet capable of taking this trigger as far as it will go. I was saving up my pennies for a bump fire stock, just to have fun with, instead I will be watching for another sale on this trigger.
what every trigger should be
by acman145acp
This trigger performs exactly as described on Geissele website. This is not the flat bow enhananced version in primary arms description. It's exactly what i wanted and was looking for.Simply unreal1. The shooter starts pulling the trigger as his sights become aligned on target.2. At about 3.5 lbs., the trigger starts to move backsmoothly, like it’s on ball bearings.3. After the trigger moves a short distance, the weapon discharges. Nothing precedes the discharge: no second stage stop, no grittiness, no stacking of the trigger pull weight as the hammer is cammed down like on a stock AR15 trigger. The trigger finger feels a sensation of walkingalong a perfectly flat, glassy-smooth plateau that suddenly drops away.4. After a short overtravel, the trigger is quickly reset when the shooter slightly relaxes trigger finger and the next shot is ready to be fired without having to go back to the beginning of the trigger pull cycle.
Unbelievable

This was my first real AR trigger upgrade. I have upgraded many a pistol trigger, but never saw the need for the AR until I got into 3 gun. Now I am spoiled and will have to install some versions in my other ARs.
