When building or upgrading your AR-15 rifle, one of the most important components is the trigger. There are many triggers out there so you must ask yourself what are you are going to do with the rifle. Are you going to use it for plinking at the range, home defense, competition, or long-range precision shooting? The answer of this question will help you to understand what trigger you will need. The Geissele Super Dynamic 3 Gun (SD-3G) Trigger is designed specifically for 3-gun competition where extremely fast follow-up shots in close quarters are required. It features and extremely short length of pull with a quick reset that puts it between a two-stage and single-stage trigger while still benefiting from the safety and reliability of a combat two-stage trigger. This trigger is non-adjustable, but it comes with two trigger springs so you can choose to have either a 4lb. or 3.25lb. pull weight. The SD-3G is the perfect edition to your race gun that will help you master rapid follow-up shots and target acquisition while under pressure from the timer.
Geissele Automatics manufactures confidence, offering quality triggers and components for the warfighter and competitor. They were established in 2004 with the mission to build the highest quality, reliable triggers for competition and their first trigger, the Hi-Speed National Match trigger, was so popular that they were asked by the Department of Defense to produce a select-fire trigger for the United States Special Operations. Again, it was a success and Geissele decided to bring a semi-automatic version to the civilian market for law enforcement and personal protection.

Awesome!

I installed this in a Seekins Precision billet lower and love it. Smooth as butter. You won't be disappointed with this trigger.
3 gun trigger

I'd been trying to convince myself to spend the money on this trigger for some time and finally did. Couldn't be happier with this trigger. Light feel, super fast reset and consistent. Top it all off and it came with primary Arms famous shipping.....even during the recent craziness in the industry.
Almost perfect

I'm familiar with Milspec triggers and wanted something better. I knew I wanted a single stage trigger after playing with a POF rifle. Installation is straight forward and made easy with the included starter pin. My only gripe is of the two springs that came with it, one has a tremendous amount of grit to it. Not sure why, but it almost felt like a Milspec trigger even after I lubed/oiled the entire assembly. I put the lighter spring in and now it feels like what you would expect for the money. It does up the cool factor too. I'm annoyed that I can only use this trigger with one of the pull weights but this trigger went into a competition rifle so the lighter trigger isn't a huge safety concern. YMMV
The best AR trigger in the world, bar none
by Steve Stanford
I'm spoiled. I tried all manner of AR trigger before discovering this one. It is literally heads and shoulders above the rest. Nothing compares. Seriously. I can't build a rifle now without one. It's that good. With this trigger I can almost reach full-auto speeds with its light, crisp break, super short takeup, and almost no reset. Forget the drop-in units - they're for pansies. There's a reason why our special forces are using Geissele now.
it's good...?

Another piece of Geissele perfection!

I've run about 400 rounds with it through various cqb scenarios in a BCM 14.5" carbine.Couldn't be happier!Very smooth, even, pull with no creep or build.I had read about people having doubles with this trigger. I don't understand how this is even possible. They must be flinching / slapping the trigger or some other terrible habit to get it to double. It is definitely faster and much lighter than a Milspec single stage but I find it had plenty of resistance for me to "feel" it move after I began squeezing. (With the 3.5# spring)I find that the flat trigger bow gives me better feedback as the trigger starts to move.Geissele does not market this trigger for defensive or tactical use. I've been told this is for legal reasons due to the low pull weight. (Not sure if that's true)IMHO, this is the best cqb trigger I've ever had the pleasure of running myself.Shorter, lighter, faster.Bottom line.... Very impressed!Buy it!
