When building or upgrading your AR-15 rifle, one of the most important components is the trigger. There are many triggers out there so you must ask yourself what are you are going to do with the rifle. Are you going to use it for plinking at the range, home defense, competition, or long-range precision shooting? The answer of this question will help you to understand what trigger you will need. The Geissele Super Dynamic Combat (SD-C) Trigger is designed specifically for combat, hunting, and Law Enforcement use. It is nonadjustable and features a sear design that provides a wide margin of safety against unintentional discharges while still maintaining a smooth, consistent trigger pull. This model has a slightly heavier 4.5lb total trigger pull between the two stages of travel that keeps you from accidentally pulling the trigger in high adrenaline situations. Drop this trigger in your home defense/duty rifle and you won’t have to worry about it failing you.
Geissele Automatics manufactures confidence, offering quality triggers and components for the warfighter and competitor. They were established in 2004 with the mission to build the highest quality, reliable triggers for competition and their first trigger, the Hi-Speed National Match trigger, was so popular that they were asked by the Department of Defense to produce a select-fire trigger for the United States Special Operations. Again, it was a success and Geissele decided to bring a semi-automatic version to the civilian market for law enforcement and personal protection.

As expected a great product from a company that has not failed to deliver on their promise to provide a quality product. The install is simple if you have some experience with the AR platform.

Don't have too much experience with other triggers, bit this is exactly what I wanted a nice crisp break with a short crisp reset. Great trigger and again awesome shipping time to Hawaii!

A trigger worth having

I have nothing but good things to say about this flat Geissele trigger for my Bushy FDE MOE AR-15. I've been using stock mil-spec trigger on my service M-16 in the military for years and to just have this put on my AR-15 makes me want to shoot it more. The trigger has a very clean and predictable break. The flat trigger also has a unique look on my AR-15. The trigger is easy to install (watched the Geissele trigger install youtube video). I'll never go back to stock and plan to purchase this trigger if I decide to buy another AR-15. Thanks Primary Arms for getting this trigger to me so quickly.
What can you say, it's a Geissele

I love the flat bow of this trigger. The break on this trigger is great as well. Really nice dual stage!

I played with a fellow shooter and fell in love, the price, while not cheap definitely feels like a million bucks! PA is one of the fastest shippers ever!

I saw a chance at a great deal and took it. The trigger is awesome but the service was better.
SD-C Trigger is great, but......

I was looking at Geissele for some time and decided to pull the trigger (pun intended) during the Black Friday sale. PA had the lowest price I've seen for these all year. I prefer a lighter break and feel the SD-E may have been a better choice (at least for me). I know reviewers have said the SD-E is too light and does not have the margin of safety the SD-C has. I can only compare to an RRA NM 2-stage trigger and must say I've never experienced any unintentional fires from the RRA's very short and very light pull weight. That being said, I believe the Geissele SD-C is an excellent trigger! Pull weight feels the same all the way through both stages and you know when you've hit that 2nd stage. The 2nd stage break is crisp and clean. There is absolutely no gritty or rough feel in this trigger. The flat bow does not make me perceive a lighter pull, but has a lot better feel than a conventional bow. Would not hesitate to recommend this trigger to anyone!
