Gemtech SP-90 Supressor

Derived from the Gemtech M4-96D, the Gemtech SP-90 Suppressor is optimized for use with the FN Herstal P90 PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) and the 5.7×28mm cartridge for law-enforcement and other special applications. 

The SP-90 protects your hearing, reduces flash signature, and reduces noise pollution. Gemtech’s SP-90 proves this by reducing the decibel (dB) level at the muzzle by 31 dB when using supersonic SS190 ammunition and 33 dB when using subsonic SS193 ammunition. Gemtech warns against using non-FN ammunition and calibers other than 5.7mm (e.g., 5.56mm NATO) - this will void the manufacturer’s warranty.

In addition, the sound suppressor, by capturing high-velocity, high-temperature expanding gases as they leave the muzzle, virtually eliminates muzzle flash and preserves your night vision.

As the SP-90 is manufactured using stainless-steel alloys, it is highly corrosion resistant.

Although reducing recoil isn’t a priority regarding the high-velocity, lightweight 5.7×28mm round in the P90, suppressors also increase the controllability of semi-automatic weapons during rapid fire.

While all suppressors will change the bullet’s point of impact, Gemtech has engineered both the SP-90 and mounting hardware to deliver a consistent and predictable point of impact shift with no reduction in accuracy or precision.
