Very good for the price.

I bought this handgaurd a while back and hadn't had any problems with it. Just sliding it over the barrel nut was a pretty snug fit, so after tightening it down I'm confident that it will remain secure. The screws to fasten the rail onto the nut did not come with loctite already on them so that's something you'll have to do yourself. My only knock on this handgaurd, as it is excellent quality for the money, is the deburring could've been a bit better.
Good hand guard great sale price!
Received the handguard fast and the quality is very good for my purposes.
As for the barrel nut being hard to remove, I used a 1/2 inch wood dowel rod that I had handy and it taps right out without damage to the nut, handguard or the wood dowel.

Mine came with the barrel nut already wedged into the handguard. It was a pain to get out. I had to drive a wedge into it to get it out. Other than that, the installation was straightforward. Once the barrel nut was tightened onto the receiver I used a rubber mallet to drive the handguard over the nut, and then tightened the screws. It's a tight fit, but better too tight than too loose.
Would by again for the price. It works great
Nice handguard, lacking anti rotation tabs

Nice handguard,. Only issue I see is it doesn't have anti rotation tabs. Im not sure if that will matter, but I can only assume that there is a reason every other company has them. Time will tell.
Consider Ghost for your next build!

It is a great handguard for the price, especially if you can catch it on sale. It is definitely a slim style guard like a Midwest Industries equivalent in design. Though, I would say the finish isn't quite as top notch as a Midwest, but it is pretty dang close! My only gripe is that it does not come with any barrel nut shims, and you will definitely need a kit to properly time the nut. If Ghost decides to add a shim kit then it would easily be a five star product for its price point and good quality.
