The best sub $1000 LPVO on the market
by Matthew
People will find things to complain about with every LPVO because they are inherently decent at everything but great at anything. This scope has its own issues. Size, distortion at the edges, color shift, Yada, yada, yada. same problems as every other LPVO in this price range. The good? Clear glass, MASSIVE eye box, superb reticle,(the stadia are a huge upgrade to the ACSS Raptor reticle) steel on steel clicks, maybe one of the closest to true 1x that you will look through, robust and rugged design, extras in the box, lifetime warranty.... Easily better than scopes twice it's price.

I do have to say that I was skeptical on this lpvo, that is until my coworker picked up the glx 1-6 griffin reticle(blem) and immediately put this optic on the top of my list. I really like the tactical elevation turret, it has some weight to it(but what lpvo in this price range doesnt), it feels very well built and tough. I picked this one up when they were on sale. The glass clarity is on par with my vortex pst gen 2 5-25, and is crystal clear through all magnification levels. I just mounted it on my 13.9 ar10 and have not had the time toboresighted it yet but just playing around at the house. I will update this after I fully test it.
Fantastic optic

The glass is super clear. The brightness doesn’t quite match daytime but the hash marks are easy to see. The built in throw lever is great. It doesn’t require tools to adjust and recap. Overall I’m super happy with the reticle and the build quality of this optic.
GLx 1x6x30 FFP

I’m new to Low Power Variable Optics, so did some research before purchasing. Narrowed it down to Vortex Strike Eagle 1x6x30 SFP & a Viridian 1x8x30 Mylex FFP. Liked the Viridian 8x in a FFP, but reviews online were scarce. Thought it was made in the USA, but it’s designed in the US and made in China. Ready to purchase the Viridian after contacting their very courteous and helpful support department. Then, I saw a sale on the Primary Arms (PA) GLx 1x6x30 FFP. The reduced cost was within $25 of the Viridian, and there were mostly good reviews online for the PA GLx. Decided to go with the Primary Arms and so far very pleased. Seems to be a sturdy, well built scope with very clear glass and I like the ACCS Raptor M6 reticle. Zeroed with a laser bore sight in less than 15 minutes at 50 yds, very easy. Although new to LPVOs, I prefer the FFP, visited a store to look thru the Vortex Strike Eagle and found the reticle to be tiny. Very happy with this purchase.
PA glx 1-6

Absolutely love this scope so far, the retical is an awesome design, didn't know it had an auto shut off for the illumination but I love that too. Also really happy it's made in Phillipines and not China.
Great Value!

For the price, I don’t know that this LPVO can be beaten. When I bought it, it came with PA’s mount for no additional charge at $339 (sorry if that’s taboo, but value is subjective). The reticle is fantastic and makes it easy to get on target.
Reticle brightness is fine for me. Auto Live is nice, but I typically leave mine at 10 or the off position next to it.
The class is very clear for the price. There is better glass out there, but it’s pretty clear with limited distortion and good color representation.
I am very pleased with a budget entry into LPVOs without breaking the bank or feeling cheap!
Fantastic!!
