The return to zero feature allows shooters to rapidly return to their elevation to 'Zero' after dialing out for long-range engagements without having to keep track of the adjustments you made to get out there in the first place. not sure where you left your elevation the last time you were at the range? Not only can you simply return your scope to your set Zero, the elevation turret features elevation rotation indicators to get you back on track at a glance.

The GLx is also home to one of the newest features. The smooth magnification ring hosts an innovative swappable adjustment fin. The fin can be easily positioned anywhere around the magnification ring to meet the needs of the shooter. Optional upgrades and alternatives are on the way as well, allowing users to customize their scope to meet their needs.

This 4-16x50mm GLx scope is equipped with the first focal plane MIL-DOT reticle. Properly matched with MIL/MIL turret adjustments, this traditional reticle in use by military forces in almost every country allows shooters to range and find their hold overs without being forced to use caliber specific BDC systems. Great Scope

by

I purchased this scope for a 6.5 Grendel AR that I will be using for punching paper, shooting long range steel and hog hunting. So far I am very pleased with the scope. The glass is very good, the Mil-Dot reticle is properly sized so it works very well from 4 to 16X. I love the floating center dot. The turret system is fantastic. It locks into place on your zero and unlocks with a button built into the turret. When you go back it automatically relocks at your zero setting. The clicks are very defined with great tactile feel. A little less positive on the sound of the clicks but still very good. All the adjustments are smooth and have a perfect amount of resistance. The illumination is great and doesn't bleed over if properly set. Not visible in full sun but that's not what it's for anyway. I highly recommend this optic for anyone looking for this type scope at a great price. It would be very hard to find anything better for the price which is common with Primary Arms optics.

Great Value!

I put this on an AR-15 platform 6.5 Grendel. So far I am very pleased and I feel like this scope hits out of its price range. The glass is great, turrets are fantastic. They unlock by pushing a button on the front of the dial. They also have very audible and tactile clicks that are extremely positive. The zero stop works well and is very easy to set. The reticle is appropriately sized to work across the magnification range and the floating center dot is the perfect addition. All of the controls work smoothly and with just the right amount of resistance. Overall I feel like this is a lot of scope for the money. Great features and all the details are properly designed making it very user friendly without any annoying issues.

Fantastic scope

Good:
-Turrets are clicky, precise and track properly.
-Image is clear in all lighting conditions.
-Zoom and parallax adjustments are smooth and the right balance of stiffness.
-Zero lock works well, love the push button design to it.
-Not super chunky in weight.
-Great eye relief with a moderately sized eyebox at lower magnification.
-Auto on/off for illumination works flawlessly.
-Illuminated reticle is plenty bright to improve contrast in all lighting conditions.

Bad:
-FoV is a little smaller compared to other options at the same magnification settings. Doesn't hurt much, but side by side it is noticeable.
-Illuminated reticle is not bright enough to use as a pseudo red dot in bright sunlight (I don't care, but some do).

I like this scope

by

This scope would easily sell for twice this price if it was sold as a Trijicon or Leupold. You will not find better quality for the price. This scope has a good amount of modern features and some unique upgrades that once you learn their value you'll wish all your scopes came with. If you want a better scope be prepared to spend at least $1000

Great Scope.

First the turrets are some of the very best I've ever used. They are both tactile and audible. The locking design with the push button lock is pure genius. The glass is very good and has excellent light transmission. The reticle is exactly what I like with mil dots and a very fine floating dot as an aiming point. The reticle is properly sized so that it works well throughout the magnification range. All the controls have just the right amount of resistance and are easy to grip. The only small complaint I can find is the field of view is a little smaller than some but not enough to be an issue. I used this on a 6.5 Grendel hog hunting trip in South Texas and hauled it around over 200 miles on an ATV and it held zero perfectly. I have had two other scopes not fare nearly as well on these trips. I would highly reccomend the Primary Arms GLX series of scopes for anyone looking for a scope that performs way out of its price range.

Zero stop turrets work well. Excellent glass and reticle clarity. Weight of scope is great with respect to features built in. I just purchased another Gold series scope for another rifle.

Clear Glass, awesome turrets

Love it. Clear glass, I love the turrets and the 0 stop. FFP scope with the perfect range of zoom for anything you might need to do with it.
