This rifle scope is part of the mid-tier optics line called GLx. GLx brings premium technology and materials into an approachable price range.

The GLx 2.5-10x24 has a 4x magnification range, offering better close-range field of view and speed than a traditional 3-9x scope, but improved medium-to-long range precision as well. For hunting, competition, or even just punching paper at the range, the combination of quality, features, and of course the Advanced Combined Sighting System (ACSS®) reticles is hard to beat.

  • 2.5-10x Magnification
  • 44mm objective

This GLx rifle scope features newly designed patented turret mechanisms, offering not just a new look but a host of incredible new features! Each movement of the turret will provide a crisp, audible, and tactile 0.1 MIL click that will never wear out thanks to the tough steel-on-steel construction! Externally, these locking turrets feature a high speed return to zero, ensuring that once your zero is set you won't have to worry about bumps or the environment making unintended changes to your turrets. The return to zero feature allows shooters to rapidly return to their elevation to 'Zero' after dialing out for long-range engagements without having to keep track of the adjustments you made to get out there in the first place. Not sure where you left your elevation the last time you were at the range? Not only can you simply return your scope to your set Zero, the elevation turret features elevation rotation indicators to get you back on track at a glance.

The GLx is also home to a great new feature. The smooth magnification ring hosts an innovative swappable adjustment fin. The fin can be easily positioned anywhere around the magnification ring to meet the needs of the shooter. Optional upgrades and alternatives are on the way as well, allowing users to customize their scope to meet their needs.

This 2.5-10x44mm GLx scope is equipped with the first focal plane ACSS Griffin MIL reticle. This incredible, all-in-one reticle features an eye-catching horseshoe that functions just like a red dot at low magnifications, allowing for unsurpassed close quarters engagement speed. The automatic ranging system gives easy estimation on targets out to 600 yards. At 10x, the full features of the reticle come to life, offering moving target leads and a MIL-dot matrix that allows for precise shots at extended ranges with any caliber.

Exceptional scope

by

Excellent glass and light gathering. The FFP 2.5 x setting is the same reticle as the excelllent 2.5x CQB - meaning cross consistency of kit, and an excellent snap shoot CQB reticle at low power. Crank it up to 10x, and the grid becomes very visible and usable and works very well. Dials are very nice too. Adjustable parallax down to very low (15 yards I think) allow indoor practice use and such, and spin the dial out to as far as 1000 ot more yards outside. No scope focus adjustment required.

Be aware it is a bit heavy, so you'll want to be sure that's ok with your needs.

The scope itself is probably the best general purpose do all 15 yard to 1000 yard glass optic you are going to get (at least for this price). Love mine at least. Also, only the little Chevron illuminates, not anything else.

Left-handed Issue

by

The scope is outstanding. The knobs on the left side extend further than those on the right side. This presents a problem if you want to add an off-set optics on the left side. I’m still working through it but it does appear that Arisaka make one that might work for $100+.

Near Perfect

I got this for my new 6 ARC. I wanted a scope I could dial for precise shots at distance, but was still usable at closer range, so I went with this instead of the Razor 1-10 I had initially bought for this build, since that one has capped turrets. Anyway, the glass is very clear, the turret clicks are excellent, the hash marks on the scope and turret line up at every click, the zoom ring is smooth, the parallax isn't too stiff, but not too loose, and it even came with Butler Creek flip caps. I really like this scope overall, except for one gripe. That gripe is the illumination. Indoors it's fine, but outside you can't tell it's on. For fast, close up shooting it would be nice if the illumination was bright enough to grab your eye's attention, but it's just not. I have a couple of Razor 1-10's, and they're red dot bright. I know I'm comparing a $2k scope to a $650 scope, but still. I still think this is an excellent scope, especially for the money, and highly recommend it.

Great scope! but needs Athena BPR reticle option IMO.

I wish PA would offer this scope with their Athena BPR reticle. I would give this scope 5/5 stars if the aforementioned reticle was available. I really really enjoy this scope. Glass clarity at this price is exceptional. Zero stop turrets for both elevation/windage and parallax adjustment really lend themselves well to making this scope "precision" capable. I have mine mounted on a 18" 556 AR and have taken it out to 620yds easily. I would buy another one if PA offered the Athena BPR reticle in this scope. I hope PA reads this and makes this option available for me! LOL.

Good but not perfect

by

I always despise 1st focal plane on low magnification, as without illumination the reticle is small and slow to pick up. Being dependent on batteries is not good. That being said, the reticle is very useful. The glass is pretty good. If they made this in a 1-10 2nd focal plane it would be the ultimate all around scope. Keep the zero stop and target turrets. Make it in the higher quality plx line.
