Grey Ghost Precision S-Heavy AR 308 Rifle - 16"

Coming to us from Grey Ghost Precision this .308 Winchester or 7.62 NATO caliber rifle weighs in on the bulky side at an overall weight of around 8.3 pounds which is where it gets its name – S-Heavy. To many this stunning rifle might be tipping the scales in the wrong direction, but once fired the S-Heavy from Grey Ghost Precision lives up to its name consistently producing some heavy, hard hitting results. Superb for accurate downrange long shots, this semi-auto rifle was developed to meet specifications from our soldiers operating in Afghanistan theatre. Grey Ghost precision paid special attention to the requests, creating this monster with a GGP MKII billet receivers as well as the extended M-LOK rail and handguard all forged from 7075-T6 aluminum. Rounding up the efficiency of operation Grey Ghost designed the S-Heavy .308 for ambidextrous use, giving both left and right handers ease of use with the controls.

With attention to every detail Grey Ghost offers this semi-auto rifle with a Radian Talon safety and Radian Raptor charging handle and includes a 5/8x24 muzzle break to assist in more precise placement of shots and flash hide.Another unique feature about the S-Heavy semi-auto AR 308 style rifle, is an adjustable gas block which allows the user to fine tune this rifle for use with specific ammunition types, weight internals and one of the more important aspects, use of suppressor systems.Created upon request, Grey Ghost has surpassed all expectations with a rifled barrel twist of 1:10, an adjustable Magpul SL-S Mil-Spec stock, and 16” barrel making the S-Heavy’s overall length adjustable from 35” to 38”.
