For even more durability, the entire slide is coated inside and out with a tough black salt bath nitride finish for corrosion resistance and reduced wear and friction. Even the nose of the slide has been rounded for smoother holster work. The V1 also features a top windowed cut out that reduces slide mass and shows off your barrel.
